Part of that evolution is finding out where we (organizationally) come from, and there is no way that we can do that without observing the Black Panther Party.The Black Panthers For 10 years the Black Panther Party for Self Defense showed post-civil rights movement blacks what a black society could be - self sustaining, education oriented, and non-violent without sacrifice of strength. Symphony selection committees used to have potential orchestra members try out behind a black curtain. The best sounding candidate got the position. Not based on color or age, simply on performance without the performer being seen. This philosophy, not affirmative action, should be implemented with employee or student selection (resumes or college applications with no names, to nil ethnic name bias) determining what candidates are given preferred positions.What do yall think?

So I have been getting alot of questions as far as how to subscribe to a website (namely this one, I hope!) Well here's a quick tutorial on how to follow pages and sites that you like. 1. Get a Feed Reader A Feed Reader is like an electronic newspaper. It goes out, collects new updates from sites that you like, and displays them to you all in one place in list form. With a feed reader, you dont have to spend time going to cnn.com, unitedblackamerica.com, and bet.com, you simply log into your Feed Reader and all your new updates are there in a list! I personally use Bloglines.com, but Google has a feed reader as well. This is a piggyback on my last blog post.Black women are the fastest growing segment of the population when it comes to incarceration rates as well as HIV/AIDS new reported cases.Since this country was founded on racism AND sexism, black women catch hell on both fronts (even if neither of these isms are obvious, the residuals are there). I ,for one, don't celebrate Independence Day. The holiday has no significance to me other than the fact that it commemorates the birth of the wolf-in-sheeps-clothing that brought my ancestors to this part of the world. Huge controversy stirred up today when at the start of Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper's annual State of the City address yesterday morning, singer Rene Marie was introduced to perform the national anthem.Instead, she performed the song "Lift Every Voice and Sing ," which is also known as the "black national anthem". If theres any one single enemy of United Black America , its niggers (see my previous post on this subject). I will illustrate:One of my principles is to always help a black (or woman) in need as long as it doesnt compromise my ability to help other black men (or women) in need in the future, and as long as its feasible. A few years back, I had a two bedroom apartment. My girlfriend at the time and I lived in one room, while I used the other room as an office. One of the biggest barriers to us, as Black men and women, coming together permanently is the fact that we have no country to call our own. We have no economy that we can solely take responsibility for, and thereby gain collective wealth from. We have no sovereignity, meaning we cannot stand up an armed force in defense of our people. We havent our own legal system or police force, that removes the wall of protection from those who would seek to do us harm based solely on the color of our skin, or the fact that we are inherently different from other races-a difference that they would classify as threatening, or to protect us from the more violent members of our race.
