UA&P: Contest Entry # 3 What Love Is and What it can beAccording to Pope Benedict XVI, love is “ecstasy, not in the sense of a moment of intoxication, but rather as a journey, an ongoing exodus out of the closed inward-looking self towards its liberation through self-giving, and thus towards authentic self-discovery.” Love is pure and genuine when a person is able to free himself from being selfish to being selfless. Ask any graduate from UA&P and he/she definitely knows Mang Fred. He is certainly an icon of our university not only because he makes our learning life easier but also because he is our like our “tatay” (father) as well. An epigram or inscription that radiates within you as you try to live your life following it. It is if you put it more playfully, your tag line that you try to market and advertise through your words and actions.
