American Harlequin Corporation , world leader in premier dance flooring, is now in the business of giving away money!In an effort to provide better opportunities for young people pursuing performing arts careers,American Harlequin established an annual "Dance Scholarship Program." Our first annual program in 1999 resulted in $10,000 in scholarship monies being awarded. Now we award $25,000 each year to twenty lucky individuals. Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants FSEOGs

What is a Federal Supplemental Education al Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)? FSEOGs are awarded to undergraduate students with exceptional financial need—those with the lowest Expected Family Contribution (EFC) numbers (see here ). Federal Pell Grant recipients receive priority for FSEOG awards. Unlike Pell Grants, the amount of FSEOG funds you receive depends not only on your financial need but also on the amount of other aid you get and the availability of funds at your school. Receiving other aid might reduce the amount of your FSEOG award. FSEOGs are administered by the financial aid office at each school participating in the program. We provide a certain amount of FSEOG funds each year to those schools. When all funds are used for that award year, no more FSEOG awards can be made for that year. Pell Grants are awarded usually only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor's or a professional degree. (In some cases, however, a student enrolled in a post-baccalaureate teacher certification program might receive a Pell Grant.) Pell Grants are considered a foundation of federal financial aid, to which aid from other federal and nonfederal sources might be added. How much can I get? The maximum award for the 2006-07 award year (July 1, 2006, to June 30, 2007) and the 2007-08 (July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008) is $4,050. Lack of knowledge about bat ecology and behavior is one of the greatest impediments to bat conservation progress.
