Since then, Tan has had numerous exhibitions in Washington, New York, Baltimore and Beverly Hills. Her work is included in the permanent collections of the Corcoran Museum, the Center for Photography at Woodstock, and the Creative Artists Agency. Application forms are now available for this year?s PBBY-NBDB Salaysayan, a nationwide storytelling contest. Organized by the Philippine Board on Books for Young People (PBBY) and the National Book Development Board (NBDB), Salaysayan 2008 is a project that encourages a love for reading and children?s books through the celebration of the Filipino?s talent for storytelling.The contest is open to both amateurs and professionals aged 21 and above. Only those whose duly accomplished Application Forms are officially received by PBBY by August 31, 2008 will be accepted as contestants. Before the actual competition, interested parties must attend the orientation sessions on the rules of the competition, as well as accepted storytelling methods.Only 10 contestants shall make it to the finals on September 16, 2008 at the Manila International Book Fair. Wawi Navarroza is a visual artist working with photography. She has had two award-winning solo exhibitions: Polysaccharide: The Dollhouse Drama (2005) and Saturnine: A Collection of Portraits, Creatures, Glass and Shadow (2007), which won last year's Ateneo Art Awards.
