NCCA ANNOUNCES ACCEPTANCE OF ENTRIES TO THE 2007 NCCA WRITERS' PRIZEExecutive Director Cecile Guidote-Alvarez of the National Commissionfor Culture and the Arts (NCCA) announces the acceptance of entriesto the 2007 NCCA Writers' Prize.The NCCA Writers' Prize is a biennial grant awarded to six (6)writers, one for each of the following categories: novel, shortstories (including children's stories), poetry, drama, essay(English) and literary biography (English/Filipino) . The grant, inthe amount of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS gross, will assist thegrantee during the writing stage of the project.
