Time past fast, it is month end soon for March . LoonDesign doesn’t have much update since last post. Kai Loon is a bit bust with his premanent job recently and also his first WordPress theme is also nearly done. Started from this month, Kai Loon will provide the monthly collection of the quality sites, tutorials, resources and articles for LoonDesign readers. It is a nice collection for you to browse them in one shot! Well, since Kai Loon is addicted to web design. The content will be mainly focus on the related field. Even thought LoonDesign only provide photoshop, Illustrator and recently added CSS tricks but Kai Loon will also provide resources sites for Javascript or any other web developer’s helpful resources. Recently I am addicted to those animation in flash design so I search for some flash animation in Google. i like to watch animation in flash and series will be nice as it will have the noncontinuous story that you can follow. It is slightly different from anime that you watch currently. Sometimes you really can see the passion of the animator when you watch their product. The details, idea and creativity are spectacular. A RAT AS CHINESE NEW YEAR ZODIAC FOR 2008

Chinese New Year is coming next month. It is Rat year for year 2008 for Chinese zodiac. So, I do a tutorial on how to create a rat. It can be use as a newsletter as well. Let’s start then. 1. First of all, you may need some drawing skill in using Pen Tool. Anyway, it doesn’t matter if you really wish to learn. Since it is a simple artwork, so, I didn’t sketch on paper. Draw out the shape as shown below with the color given. That is actually a color code. You can easily find the correct color by inserting the number given into the color picker window. 2. Then the mouth with the color given. remember to rename the layers you created for a easier modification later on. 3. This is a bit tricky but I think it won’t make you stop here. Christmas is coming soon and my supervisor ask me to change the header for our company website to greet everyone. I started my draft and think. I always like white Christmas. So, no doubt. My design will go for white and blue. When I nearly finish the design. She came over and said that the design can’t be used because she don’t want it to be special for Christmas as we are in Malaysia. A season greeting will be enough. Then, I was thinking.
