Blogging is . . .
2007-12-05 15:30:00 Today is one of those snowy days in Ohio where everything is closed, and people are driving off the roads unintentionally. Sitting in my favorite coffee shop and enjoying the wonderful view of snow falling while writing is probably one of my favorite things. Someone asked me yesterday in a bit of a nonchalant way “so blogging is where you basically just sit around and type your thoughts all day?” Now, I don’t think I ever heard the question posed like that before so I didn’t immediately answer the question. I guess because I figured it was another way of asking “so are you just a lazy bum?” though I don’t think the individual meant it that way at all. Well today I have an answer. Blogging is a distillation process of who you really are. You could write about politics, hunting or just draw comics or you could write about blogging, creativity and just random thoughts… it really doesn’t matter. Eventu...
That Book of Poems. Here. Now. Free.
2007-12-04 14:14:00 I had put together a book of old poems that I published via the Kindle Store. But in doing so, I found the format (you have to do the whole thing via html and it looks funky and all runs together) a little overwhelming as I put it together. So I’ve decided it wouldn’t make ... I Have Finally Published my Poems
2007-12-04 04:38:00 With the advent of the Kindle from Amazon they have allowed anyone to publish their works through Amazon. So, since I had 48 of my old poems sitting on a cd, I decided I’d publish them as an ebook via the Kindle store. Most of these poems are from my teenage years, but I find people ... Christmas and Debt
2007-12-02 00:19:00 While it’s not uncommon to stand at the checkout line and watch person after person pull out their credit cards and rack up the debt, this is not our choice this Christmas . I know it means that we will be buying fewer gifts for people. I know it means that we probably will just stick ... More About: Finances , Debt

2007-11-25 21:26:00 I am a Halo fan to a certain level, but this is something that looks like it will eventually look similar to the suit that Master Chief wears in the games. "I?m Painting"
2007-11-25 04:56:00 I’m not the most focused person in the world. Tonight I began work on a smaller painting (11″ x 14″) and I didn’t really have a big plan or anything, which was probably part of the problem, and I ended up putting too much acrylic paint on the palette. Well, after I got started I ... More About: Life , Painting
