Balloon Glow
2007-04-08 19:15:00 On Good Friday we went to an event at the nearby castle where they set up their huge balloons and after sunset they brought them to glow with the rhythm of music by turning on the gas of the burners. It was an amazing and kind of surreal view to see these huge balloons in front of you and the castle in the background. Like in a cartoon where the dimensions somehow are out of order. Daydreams or Mindmovies
2007-04-03 22:37:00 This is the start of a new series, I always used to work with text in my non photographic work, so I used some works from many years ago and combined the text with my photographs of today and I think it works very well. The Text is like a cliché we have in mind when we find ourselves in situations we know very well from movies, novels or even we create them in our own imagination. Every small village has its paradebut the biggest ones are in Cologne, Dusseldorf and Mainz. We went to a wonderful parade in Seligenstadt near Frankfurt. It was absolutely amazing.
