Whew! I am pretty sensitive to Mars energy to say the least. Today I was in the gym per my commitment and I could feel the Mars energy just champing on the bit to get loose. Mars is @ 29 degrees Scorpio today, moving into Sagittarius tomorrow as mentioned in my newsletter. Jupiter moves into Aries , January 2011 and Uranus joins it in March. Mercury Things And An Update On My Oldest Sister

I got a note (snail mail) from my oldest sister today, it was a trip.  What else would contact from a double Sadge with Mercury in Sadge be but a TRIP? But it was a time travel thing because her handwriting has not changed since I was 11 which was how old I was when she left home.  She used to have pen-pals which is interesting in hindsight. Now we write to people around the world. Back then to write a stranger in another state was not that usual, especially for kids isolated in the desert but my sister maintained relationships with several pen pals for years. I recognized her writing and realized my lack on this front. I mentioned it to satori who said she also had very distinctive writing. Mercury in Pisces: Musical Thinking by Satori

Saturday night I watched Frida, Salma Hayek’s movie about the life of Frida Kahlo. Ever since I’ve had a song from the movie, Alcoba Azul, playing in the background of my mind. Today it’s interspersed with Cat Stevens’ song Tuesday’s Dead. With Pisces Mercury this is a normal occurrence for me and I don’t usually find it bothersome. Music (Neptune) flavors my thinking (Mercury). My Mercury is in the 7th house so I like to communicate this to the other. I’ll post a video to a friend’s facebook page or sing to my partner. Outtakes and various sundriesAwhile back I put up a blog asking everyone to recommend astrology books for beginners and came across this one, Breakthrough Astrology : Transform Yourself And Your World by Joyce Levine that belongs on the list. If you are studying, this is a top notch “cookbook” on the aspects and planets in the houses and signs. The writing is flawless. It is modern but not campy and the interpretation excellent all the way around. Most importantly the material while advanced is accessible to the beginner. What Happened To The Advice?

Behind the scenesYou might have noticed there has been no advice this week. It’s because last week I just didn’t get any questions I could use. I do have questions I should be working on for next week but have not had time due the problems with the mechanics of this blog over the last week. know the reader is suffering trying to get the site to load but if you are the one behind the scenes, well let’s just say what should take me 5 minutes (putting up a blog) is taking me an hour and 5 minutes or even two hours and 5 minutes and pretty soon the whole day and night is gone and I have gotten very little done no matter how much broccoli  or cookies I eat. Now they have diagnosed the problem, at least as far as to say it is not on our end. It is the host that has to do the repairs so we are waiting but it has been so time consuming trying to keep this blog updated under these conditions last week, I am just plain behind.
