Relevance of memories and scrapbooking corners

I'm finally back again after a busy week with my boyfriend, yesterday morning he was ok and left to go back to work in Genoa and after less than 3 hours I got the flu, too annoying, especially because this flu gives the temperature; in fact, I felt quite fine yesterday, but this afternoon my temperature increased a bit and I stayed in bed until now (I'm up just to write this entry, then I'll go there again to watch tv or read a book).Because I'm sick, I guess I'll have to postpone my commitments of the next days; I planned to meet my friend and ex boss Nadia, which is pregnant, for a walk at the weekly market, but I think she won't have any problem to meet me another day and I'd have a job interview for a role of travel consultant, I guess they'll understand and allow me to postpone the meeting because of my flu (I really hope so, I strongly desire this job because it'd probably be right to do it also at home after my relocation)...tomorrow we'll see, please cross your fin...

Time together with rubs

During the past days, I spent a very nice time with my boyfriend, as expected, even if something ruined the end of the week.On Wednesday afternoon we went to a techno shop in Castel Bolognese (province of Ravenna, Italy) to buy a "router" and two usb pens for our computers, we finally ended to have internet problems and now we're both indipendent with them, hooray!!On Thursday we stayed at home and called our families by phone, we really needed to relax together in the warmth of the flat.On Friday afternoon we planned to attend a book launch in Bologna, but we weren't able to go as on Thursday evening my boyfriend got the flu and on Friday afternoon even got the temperature with cold, fortunately it was quite low. 4th week of the 2008 Scrap Challenge

Yesterday I was so much inspired by the topic of the new challenge of this week proposed by the DT of the 2008 Scrap Challenge that I absolutely had to create my layout, scrappers have to prepare a page about something which they don't do for long time and which they want to restart during 2008.I chose to use my desire to restart the "penpalling", I really love it, but incredibly I didn't have enough time and will to do it during 2007, I had the leg to stand on with the idea of avoiding to do it until the relocation, but we didn't find immediately a flat to buy and obviously time literally flew away so quickly. Now I don't have this pretext anymore.For this layout I didn't count any journaling, but I used some vellum here and there with the word "amicizia" which means "friendship" in Italian. Decision about the flat and desires

On Friday evening I received a phone call which I waited for long time.In the end my future mother-in-law called to know what we decided to do with the flat [I guess we'll go on with the purchase, even if I'd like to report the real estate agent's behavior to the police].After her conversation with my boyfriend, she wanted to talk to me and I did nothing to avoid it, on the contrary I immediately accepted.She told it's not right to buy that flat only if we don't want to appeal via legal form against the real estate agency or if I'm not sure to move.I explained I'd obviously prefer to stay here because everybody is ok in his/her area, but it's also true that we're really tired of this pending situation and maybe this is the right moment for both of us for the relocation if it's happening now, even if it'd be hard for myself to leave my family and my zone.I waited for this phone call for long time because we don't know each others so deeply, I guess we're both prejudiced ...

Weekend with my bf

I'm silent because I'm spending the weekend with my boyfriend after 2 weeks since our last meeting.About the flat, I think we'll go on with the purchase, even if the real estate agent was a bit in bad faith, especially because the Italian law doesn't protect the buyer at all (grrrr, too bad). Anyway, the signing of the submission for both parts is expected within next week.Thanks to everybody, I feel you all so close in this situation and I'm very happy with my old and new friendship, thanks thanks thanks!!!Now...sorry, but I really need to go :)Have a nice weekend and see you soon with more news and layouts, ciao!!

3rd week of the 2008 Scrap Challenge and news

Today I thought a lot about the relocation.Some minutes ago my boyfriend called me at home to say he knew something which will probably make him reconsider the purchase: the owners of the flat told the flat is in fact 10 year older than what the real estate agent said some days ago. We thought the flat was in good conditions, but in this case we're sure it's not anymore!!!Bad situation, fortunately we didn't sign the contract yet, during the weekend my boyfriend will come home and we'll check what the laws say, then we'll make a decision.Yesterday I sent the confirmation of my documents sent to the company which will give me the opportunity to become scrapbooking consultant and I immediately received a hearty welcome via email by the woman will train me soon, I can't wait to receive the kit and start this adventure.Today I also received a call by a travel agency located in Bologna, they received my job application as indipendent travel agent some months ago (when I didn't kno...

I'm still alive, sorry for the silence, but today was an incredible day.Now, just before going to bed (it's already 1:10 am of Jan. 17th in Italy) I can announce the owners of the flat accepted our proposal of purchase!!! Oh my, it's real now, in a few months we'll be together in our flat in Novi Ligure!!!More news during the day, now I'm really tired, TTYL, ciao!!

Ideas for a pre-wedding album

Yesterday I felt too bad to scrap and even to go out to do all my commitments (they'll have to wait until Monday).In addition to the beginning of cold sore, which never exploded completely, yesterday I woke up with a funny rash from the base of my nose to the chin. I had the temptation to scratch the impossible itch, but I never did it to avoid to extend the probable virus. In the middle of the afternoon I felt I couldn't resist anymore, I looked for info online and I tried the remedy of putting a cold tea bag on the skin for some minutes and I decided to lay on the bed and relax; the itch disappeared some minutes ago, as well as the rash, I don't know if it was because of the tea bag or because I was able to relax completely. I still wonder if it was the failed cold sore or a sort of indigestion of some foods, I don't mind, the best thing is that I almost finished to have this annoying problem (well, I still have chapped lips, but they'll be ok in a few days).Today I really fe...

Yesterday evening we expected to have news from the owners of a flat, but it didn't happen and I guess this gave me one more reasons for stress, in addition to the concerns I already had about living near my future parents-in-law.Surprise of the surprises: yesterday evening I examined my lips on the mirror and I really think I'm starting to have a cold sore!! Grrrr, I hate it, I only had it once a lot of years ago and I exactly know it appeared because of stress, this time it's in impeccable time again.The unique problem is that, when yesterday afternoon I felt my lips stretching, I thought it was because the cold weather and I used a huge amount of cocoa butter...now my upper lip looks like a dinghy!!!I hope this bad situation with the relocation will be solved soon, we're managing it for 2 years, I guess it's really time to see it evolving.Anyway, today I checked my postbox and I found the documents to sign to start my training to become officially a scrapbooking consultant f...

Altered diary for my diet

This morning I talked again to my boyfriend by phone, this time it really seems we found a flat for the relocation, we have two options, a bigger and cheaper one and a smaller and more expensive one; my boyfriend would like to buy the new one which is the last one I mentioned, even if it has one less bedroom, I really don't know what's the best for us. I didn't tell you that if you don't see me online for some days it's because my boyfriend is at home for his 1 or 2 days off and I'm not able to do nothing at all when he's around for several reasons which are cooking, cleaning, shopping...and also snuggle :-) !!We spent a couple of nice days together, in reality this time he stayed here almost 3 days because he came home immediately when he finished to work in Genoa, so we regained more hours than usually.We only had some bad moments just before he left this late afternoon, we're looking for a flat in his parents' town and I'm very reluctant to go to live too much close to them; basically I'm conscious about the problems which we'd have in the future (in addition we - his parents and me - have very different points of view because of our culture, it can sounds a bit odd because we're all Italians, but people from Northern part and Southern part can have a big difference of mentality). I didn't have enough time to write down my 2008 Resolutions yet, even if I already have them in my mind; that's why, during a very quick break today, I created a simple digital layout which I'd like to print soon.For this digital layout I used only my fantasy mixed to Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and some freebies found online somewhere.I thought during 2007 I achieved some of my goals which are listed in this LO, now I'd like to go on in the same way to get something else and feel better, I know it's possible.Let's keep in touch, in my next entry I'll probably give you a file with the freebies I used here.See you soon, ciao from Italy!
