Tied Up till 29 May 2008
2008-05-26 12:19:00
I am a little tied up with a rush order till 29 May 2008 and if I'm late in responding to you on my shoutbox or email, please pardon me. Thanks and have a scrapalicious week ahead! I'm so excited about this rush order and normally, it's risky for me to take up such a big order in 3 days' notice but for this case, it's a farewell gift and I really want to make it a special one. Will post some
From Draft to Actual Card
2008-05-25 13:24:00
If you have been following Scrapadoo, I did mention about my new set of rubber stamps that I've purchased and this new set is for making my son's 1st birthday card. Prior to that, I did a draft of some of the cards and this is how my pop-up card looks like : From draft to actual pop up card. My cards are properly thought through and planned to make sure it achieves the right effect.

Layout Suggestion 9
2008-05-22 02:25:00
This is actually inspired by one of my scrapbook pages. The cream area requires more paper to mat and it can be the same paper or a mix of stamped or pattern paper. The dark green area is the "main area" which I use it for my photos on my scrapbook page but for a card, you can actually stamp a picture or sentiment.

1st birthday card for Natalie
2008-05-19 18:45:00
I had initially wanted to make a more complex card but due to time constraint, only managed to get this done. The tag that says "NAT" takes a bit longer time to make as the letters are individually stamped, embossed, handpainted and cut. The gift is a pair of shoes and I love working on boxes when it comes to gift wrapping. So, to preserve the box (this pair of shoes comes in very good

1st birthday card for baby Claris. A pull-out card that says Happy Birthday . outside the card is embellished with alphabet tags, teddy bear and ribbons. Gift Wrap Idea
2008-05-16 04:43:00
Bought this Jack and Lily baby shoes, that comes with a nice clear bag. It's really hard to wrap such odd shape stuff, so I've decided capitalize on whatever that comes with the original package and "beautify" it. Hope this gives you some gift wrap idea! Before "wrapping" the gift : I made a tag that is approx. 4" X 4" with pattern paper, card stock, daisy ribbons, die-cut alphabets that

10 Minutes Quick Fix
2008-05-10 16:09:00
Took a bit longer as I need to use a die-cut machine to cut out the "LAUGHTER" alphabet by alphabet and takes time to stick all the words, both on the photo and the frame. But overall, still a quick fix under 10 minutes flat!

Layout Suggestion 7
2008-05-02 15:22:00
Another easy-to-follow layout that offers many different variation. Eg, the cream cardstock can be stamped with designs or in this example, I have used a plain cardstock and adding a bit of misty green round the four sides of the paper. As for the sentiment, you may use other embellishment such as stickers, rub-ons and in this case, I have actually used dry embossing.

8 Minutes Quick Fix
2008-05-02 11:27:00
Another quick fix to the plain Ikea frame. Took longer because the alphabet rub-ons were a bit stubborn and the image just refused to get transferred to the frame, that explained why the '08 is not that clear.

5 Minutes QUICK FIX
2008-05-01 11:26:00
Just to share with everyone a five-minute work on a plain simple frame to make it more personalised and special. Bought this good old Ikea frame, really cheap, only about SGD1.50 each or maybe less. All you need is to add some embellishment to make this frame totally different and maybe a little bit "less-ikea" kinda look! BEFORE AND AFTER All you need is to have the ribbons across the

2008-04-30 12:24:00
Found a non-profit organization that was set up to sell handmade stuff where 100% of the proceeds are donated to participating no-kill animal shelter group. I have reserved 2 cards to be donated as part of the fund raising program for a start and will provide the link in my humble blog once I received confirmation of acceptance from the organization. Once again, thank you all for your support

Layout Suggestion 3

I have used this layout several times and though it's simple, but never fails to make the main stamp (dark green area) stand out. I do alter a little, depending on the sentiment required to be printed. The card below shows one of the cards I did using this layout, with a little bit altered as the sentiment "Happy Birthday" was too large to be printed in the dark brown area. If you are using

One of the simpler layout that is quick to get one card done. This is one example that is close to this layout. I didn't use the "cream" section as I used a pattern paper for the base. At the same time, I stamped my hedgehog on white paper and mat it further and embellish it with ribbon.

Layout Suggestion 1

This is one of my favourite layout but really use up a lot of paper but worth the while. You may mat several more layers on the dark green portion for the stamping. This is an example of a card I've used based on this layout. Note that the bunnies were stamped and mat further with another cardstock. Instead of stamping across, I have used a ribbon and a button instead of stamping a
