The Wildwood Film Festival
2007-03-25 19:07:00 Last night I attended the 2nd segment of the Wild wood Film Fest ival . Which is a kind of amateurish low production value and low talent version of the Wisconsin Film Festival in Madison. The local news paper the Post-Crescent touts Wildwood as the “Slam Dance of Wisconsin”. I attend one previous festival two years ago, I believe it was the festival's premiere although I am not sure. I walked away from the showing with a sore ass and feeling of utter disbelief. I thought to myself “who the fuck are these people?”, and “how can anyone make anything that is that bad?” For the last four years the Wildwood film festival has been providing individuals of the absolute lowest caliber of talent imaginable with an outlet to display their so called “art”. It's not good bad either, there are no Ed Wood 's or Bill Rebaine's in the group, nothing done here is intentionally bad. The only thing I can compare these films to is...
