Nothing beats a family cruising the interstates while all the cargo like duffel bags, tents, coolers, bikes and canoes are safely stacked at the cargo bed. The pickup truck is also a symbol of the working man. It has been said that trucks are similar to that of the horses of the American Old West. It portrays robust masculinity, the toughness that comes with perseverance of everyday labor. Today, trucks are still the favorable all-American vehicle. However, a few changes have been made. Although I'm not really a fan nor do I interest in this kind of news, the Cadillac Esca lade was mentioned so I just have to post a blog about it.Paris Hilton, after serving for 23 days, has now been released from the Century Regional Detention Facility.Despite reports she'd be whisked away from the Lynwood, Cal., jail in secret, Hilton came out the front door smiling, waving and blowing kisses to fans and reporters, dressed in a white T-shirt, skinny blue jeans and a khaki jacket. Her hair was in a braid and she was wearing make-up.And of course who would be greeting her return but ol' Mommy. Her parents rolled in a Cadillac Escalade which I suppose is just one out of many.Well I hope this girl learned a lesson or two.

This is a continuation of my previous post as per my daughter's command.Okay. I received a notification on my alerts about a "2007 DUB Edition Cadillac ". Of course this kind of news wouldn't escape my Escalade nose. This DUB Edition is influenced by Travis Barker, who according to my daughter, is the man of her dreams.I searched for his picture because I have no idea who this "Travis" is and lookie here..He's a drummer of a punk bandGuys its very, very depressing...Anyways this Travis sure knows his Cadillac Escalade. Just look at the details of the SUV.No major difference up frontOkay, I get it. It's the RimsDUB is actually recognized as the premier designer of custom rims. I have trivia for you Esca lade fanatics. Did you know that the Cadillac Escalade EXT used in the movie The Matrix Reloaded was actually a Chevrolet Avalanche? Who would suspect it as a Chevy?The "EXT" in actionYes it is. The Escalade EXT was still not in production at the time the second installment of the Matrix trilogy is filming. Since the EXT was so hyped before it was even engineered, the people behind the movie decided to have General Motors to graft together fiberglass Cadillac parts with prototype Chevrolet Avalanche pickup trucks. The designer did a fantastic job keeping the vehicle believable. What's even more astounding is keeping the dummy EXT intact after filming it in a heart-pounding car chase sequence. Well what can I say? The Escalade EXT is pretty much cutting-edge. No wonder its featured in The Matrix. It may is the ONE. In SUVs I mean.

This article is from Forbes Auto. I do believe in their judgment, however, I don't exactly nod my head in total agreement to some of the entries. Anyway, our Cadillac Escalade ranks at #5 and I do agree with that. It's doesn't really have that overly towing power but it does exceed the towing expectations from a Cadillac.Here is the complete list as compiled by Forbes.10. Mercedes-Benz G-Class9.
