BMW of Middle East sales reach a record figure of 15,150 BMW and MINI units across the region, with a 6% increas. As the official vehicles sales released, the Joint Venture between Shainghai Auto and General Motors list the heading of the top 10 brands, with sales of 500,000 units.Shanghai Auto also popped up in the number-three slot; its Shanghai VW venture delivered 456,000 units, just behind another Volkswagen affiliate, FAW VW, which sold 464,000.Chery Auto, which has affiliations outside China with Chrysler and Quantum and recently signed on with Fiat, continues to push its way to the top. Chrysler's custom SR 392 Roadster debut at 2007 SEMA Show in Las Vegas yesterday. 2009 Nissan GT-R official specification and pictures revealed at InsideLine, offerring the details of this shocking vehicle, showing at the 2007 Tokyo Auto Show.The Nissan GT-R details include an unusual powertrain system that rests the engine over the front axle and the transmission over the rear axle to dampen vibration at speeds of up to 180 mph.The 2009 Nissan GT-R is equipped with the new 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 VR38 engine with plasma-sprayed bores and a special twin-turbo exhaust system. Nissan said a secondary air management system enables the new power plant to provide about 289 pound-feet of torque during ordinary low-rev driving.The Nissan GT-R's engine makes 473 hp at 6,400 rpm and maximum torque of 434 lb-ft from 3,200 to 5,200 rpm.
