Ferrari F430 On Fire Video

As an update to my previous post here's the video of burning F430 at South Luzon Expressway in Philippines.You can see a policeman with a handheld extinguisher trying to put out the fire, but with no success.

Woman buried in Ferrari

I was reading a very interesting thread at Ferrari Chat.com forum about late Sandra Ilene West and her wish to be buried in her favorite Ferrari and since there was much of debate which Ferrari she was buried in I decided to do some research. The most sources I found claim it was 1964 Ferrari 250GT, but quite a few claim it was Ferrari 330 America. One thing is sure, the color of the car was the powder blue.And when I thought that the story was over something extraordinary happened, a member of the FerrariChat.com forum sjg posted this message:"If you really want to know... Ferrari F430 ? So Hot It Melts Down!

As shocking as it seems to be it is not uncommon for this particular model of Ferrari to get on fire. The reason for this is an engine-overheating flaw which can cause a fire in the engine bay. Here you can see burning F430 at South Luzon Expressway in Philippines. To quote a witness:"Yup, this was yesterday, around 7:30 am to about 8:30 when the flat bed arrived to scoop it up.The car owner is a good friend, and I was with him yesterday...actually right behind him when the fire started. We were driving a bit quicker at the skyway, but when we reached SLEX, we slowed down because of traffic. The incident happened right before the Susana Heights exit (800 mteres from it). We were following each other (there were about 8 of us doing a leisurely sunday drive) at the part of SLEX where the lanes were guided by plastic orange things...so it at about 60 km/h. The car started to accelerate a bit after the single lane guide, and the fire erupted form the left rear bank of the car.Thought it...

     McLaren's chief designer, Mike Coughlan, was found in possession of 780 pages of technical information on Ferrari cars which he allegedly got from Ferrari head of performance Stepney , Nigel Stepney :) McLaren's 2007 Championship was put at stake, but the FIA ruled yesterday that McLaren will not be punished for possession of confidential Ferrari's documents. Needless to say, Ferrari is pissed off. This is an excerpt from the statement on the Ferrari's website:        "Ferrari notes that Vodafone McLaren Mercedes has been found guilty by FIA World         Council.     This is the youtube video in which you can see a review of Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano done by Tiff Needell from the Fifth Gear (the channel Five's automobile show for the Martians). This model is a replacement for the 575M Maranello as the Ferrari model for the year 2007. The powerful Tipo F133F 6.0 L V12 engine, yes the same engine used in Enzo, produces more than 620 HP, making the 599 GTB the most-powerful series production Ferrari on the roads. Pretty impressive.
