A sad report from AIADA has confirmed that David Hermance, 59 years old and Toyota Motor Corp. executive designer and credited as the ?America n father of the Prius? perished in a plane crash Saturday afternoon approximately fifty yards away from Los Angeles? San Pedro. Hermance was one of the country?s top experts in terms of gas-electric hybrid vehicles and was primarily responsible for bringing the technology to the US market. GM will not pursue production of Minivan in its Spring Hill
