The model can be included in the sport category for its appearance and its technical characteristics. The OPC presents a 1.6 liter turbocharged engine, developing 192 hp which gives the possibility to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds and reach the top speed of 225 km/h. A striking combination of gold and copper, the APC Mazda Protegé's airbrushed detail work was the most time consuming modification, taking Prax Garcia nearly a week to complete. Of course, a lot more than bodywork went into the MP3. Autometer gauges, a Sherwood carbon fiber dash kit and Cobra seats customized by Stitchcraft with Schroth racing harnesses sported up the interior. The COBB 350Z Project car can regularly be seen out around city as well as out at Miller Motorsports test Park. This car performs double duty as a test mule and as a daily driver. Real world road and track testing was also used for this car, much like our MazdaSpeed3 project. Currently resting on production COBB Sport Springs and Sway Bars, this car charges local mountain canyon roads and the local Miller Motorsports Park with ease. The future for the 350Z looks very bright. Future products include a complete sports tuned Cat Back Exhuast, SF Intake, as well as the highly anticipated AccessPORT.
