Things are certainly looking up for recently-sold Aston Martin nowadays.In the news: Aston Martin is reportedly considering building a new range-topping supercar to go head to head with the Mercedes SLR, and, to a lesser extent, the Bugatti Veyron. The report comes from U.K. magazine AutoExpress, which also claims that the high-performance coupe goes by the codename DBX.According to the reports, the DBX, with its top of the line performance parts, is set to offer a top speed in excess of 205 mph, and a zero to sixty time in the mid-three-second range. Power, speculates industry insiders and watchers, would likely come from a 700 horsepower 6.0-liter V12 engine.The DBX says the Leftlane news would be a ?spiritual successor? to the 1986 Aston Martin Zagato, which was built to hit 300km/h (186mph).
