Hi everyone,the media didnt answer my mails, but a swiss guy helped me out and donated another 20$, lets hope we keep up the good way ;).I have been spending my time with working on a concept of a startup I want to start after my apprentice and learning for exams, pretty disgusting if you ask me.Ah, I was at the geneva auto exhibition, take a look.I won't give up!

From emails to real mails

Hi guys, its been a long time since my last update, so here I am. Because no one answered my emails, I started writing real mails. Last friday I wrote letters to arround 10 different german media associations. Today I got my first negative answer from Auto Motor Sport Magazine. Well, lets hope at least one magazine will like my idea.

Maintenance

Some people asked me how I would afford this car. Well I made some calculations.I think I wont need all the 10'000$ in the trip through europe so there would be arround 5'000-4'000$ still left for me.The assurance would cost me arround 1'300$ a year, registered to my dad.In arround 2-3 years I'll be out of professional school and I'll be earning arround 5'000 swiss francs a month.And the technical maintenance? Well until then the 2 year guarantee of Porsche would help me out for sure.And for last, the gas.Dudes, I wont be driving this beautyful car every day. I'll just drive it arround at sunday and at saturday when I'm out to clubbing.Everything clear now?

Hi ppl.Its ricdes again, still 000000000000 advertisers. Is there only guy out there willing to help me and to advertise on a beautiful car?! Damn , I got arround 1000 visitors this month, but only 1 guy, Eddie, managed to help me out. Anyone got an idea how to dammed make this thing running? I'm frustated, when I talk to anyone about this idea, everyone think its great. But still, no one is advertising.ANY IDEAS?!

Hi guys,now its time to update this blog once again.I've been doing nothing special, just updated the design of the site, moved some things to the right, some other things to the left.Ah, there's a new page: 'About Me'. It just tells you who I am and what I do... and so on.I've written some mails to big companys and to big tv stations. Well,I wrote to Porsche some days ago, now I got the (negative :() answer. They think its nice idea and wish me good luck, BUT they dont want to support me in any way. I wasnt expecting any other thing, so...But I wrote to some german Car magazines, to Top Gear and to the german show: TV Total. Lets hope at least one of them are crazy enough to report about my hard way to a Porsche. Still 11.5 months of time left to it ;P...PS: The website got updated.. ;).Thx to all supporters, and haters ;P

First, About Me:My Name's Ricardo and I'm currently living in switzerland. I was born in Portugal, the country of the crazy soccer people. Why the Cayman?I just obtained my driving licence in a brand new Golf GTI. Since i'm a child I love Porsches and I dreamed about getting one. Since Porsche released this new vehicle, the Porsche Cayman, I knew I had to get one. A quite impossible task, because im still apprentice nor am I rich. So I got an idea, how about begging people to pay some dollars and make my dream come true? If I can make it:I'll take the car through a trip through the capitals of Europe, and i'll make a videoblog everyday about my travel through europe. The goal is to be in Portugal at the 22th of July, my birthday. What am I searching for: Donators, which support me with a small feeSponsors, which pay higher amounts and will get advertising space on the Car If I can make it. If I cant make it to the car, you get your money back.

What do you mean by Advertising space I mean stickers of your logos or url's bumped to the car, you pay for the place they take away from my car. How much do you have avaliable From my calculations i got 12 Squaremeters avaliable on the car. Costs So i'll did that calculation: 80'000$ (the money I pretend to get with the ad's on the car) divided through 12, that makes 6666.66$per squaremeter on the car, and that means that 1 squarecentimeter ad space on the car costs you only 66.66$. Its not much for a lifetime Ad, aint it? If I wont make it to the car in that 1 year, you'll get your money back. You'r interested? Contact me.

Well people ask me, what the f* I would do with a brand new Cayman .Ok, first I'll go to the center of my town and drive it in the first gear through the main road so anyone notices, what I own for now. ;-PSecond, I would do a road trip like drive in my summer vacation arround the capitals of europe so I could reach Portugal right at the time to assist the wedding of my cousin on the 22th of July, my birthday.I would blog every day of the trip with a video camera and load it to youtube. Lets hope you like that idea. :)
