I have used an account at Zecco to trade stocks for one year and I think I’m so lucky to found this to save commission fee. I couldn’t believe they offer free trades of up to 10 per month and the options trades are $4.50 per contract. I’ve done a fair amount of trading this year, so migrating my investing from Ameritrade to Zecco should save me a few hundred bucks a year. It’s actually somewhat disturbing to even admit that I drop a few hundred dollars a year in trading commissions, but in reality, many people probably don’t even know how much they’re spending per year, or they’re in denial. Granted, commissions are tax deductible, but if you’re making say, high 5 figures and you have a mortgage and some kids, your effective tax rate is probably around 10%, so you’re not getting much back...
