The couple ordered:1. Personalised wedding magnet set (Magnet, backing insert, thank you note)2. Personalised wedding invitation cards (with 2-sided venue map prints)3. Signages for directions to the venue4. Crochet flowers and gold ribbons (additional packaging)5. Some blank notes with similar design as the thank you note (to jot down some personal messages to friends)So, I managed to complete the wedding order over the weekends. Be amazed! I am amazed myself. I thought I would need 2-3 days to tie the hand crochet flowers with gold ribbons on the favors. If I didn't take some time out that day to help Mike with some work, I am certain I would have completed the order on Saturday; it overflowed to Sunday though.I really feel proud of myself completing this job order though. For those who have visited my Etsy shop today may notice the change in my shop banner. Yep, I changed it yesterday.It's funny how I told the story to Sheri, a close friend of mine. Simple Arts Planet website had been hanging with the 'Under Construction' sign for months, and I have finally upped the site. Trouble with Yahoo Email for Receiving PDF Files

There have been several experiences that my buyers feedback that they were not able to open the PDF files which I sent out to their Yahoo email account.The most recent experience is just solved minutes ago.One buyer was not able to open the file, it read an error that the file may be damaged or not decoded properly. This really upset me, I hate it when buyers couldn't open the file. I don't hate the buyers, I hate the fact that they received the 'order' but not able to enjoy what they purchased. That is yikey for me.This buyer has been very patient and nice. While I was up in the middle of the night, trying to search for a solution on Adobe site and googling to find possible alternative, the buyer replied that she managed to solve the issue!It was simple step, she forwarded the same mail to a newly setup gmail account, and it solved the problem.I have sent a feedback to Yahoo, but in case they do not fix it in time, I would ask my buyers to setup a gmail account in order to rece...

Projects for Mike's Colleague

These 2 projects are handed to me the day before by Mike, asking me to help him complete the 2 fabric scraps designing/sewing intended for his colleague who is reaching 10th years of service. Each of them will receive 2 fabric scraps to sew something on the scraps and pass them back to the person-in-charge to sew all the pieces together to form a large fabric portrait. The flowers design: Signifies the flourishing 10 years serving her clients and blooming in her career. The granny square design: Made with exactly 10 rounds, signified the 10 colorful years in the company, and continue to grow bright in the years to come. Amigurumi Doll - Frankencubie Monster

Frankencubie is the last monster I designed and made to form Mons ties Trio. Before I start the project, I already had in mind what I wanted to do. I had a round monster, pointed monster, now I want a cube monster. It took me quite a fair bit of time to make Frankencubie in comparison to the other 2 little ones. I tripped on a few failures before I finally got to where I wanted. Then, I selected dark blue for the hair, but the dark blue yarn is slight thicker than the light blue yarn. That makes the patch uneven, and I decided to make a brand new one. When Mike was back last evening, I showed him this new monster. Ok, he said, oh, it's a boy, wait wait, it's a Frankenstein, wait wait, it's a Lego! I showed this to Sheri, who is in USA, I told her I was indecisive of what to name this little Lego; Cubie? Cuboy? Something for a friend

This is an artwork I did for a friend. I know the work may look a bit juvenile, my niece may be able to do a better job. Then again, with plain 80gsm copier paper, there is just this much I can do with watercolor. Yes you heard me right, this is done using watercolor. The story behind this painting is that my friend, Sheri, once said that I will have to get ready to starve if I were to wait for her to spoon feed me. Well, call me sly if you want, yes, I am making that happen. Ahhh, I used to do that to Mike, my husband too.
