The Ultimate Sales Machine Book Has Arrived
2007-07-26 19:24:00
After three long weeks, the book The Ultimate Sales Machine : Turbocharge Your Business with Relentless Focus on 12 Key Strategies by Chet Holmes that I ordered from Amazon has finally arrived. You will recall that this book by Chet Holmes was highly recommended by Jay Abraham. A prelimary scan of the book shows it to be quite promising. Here’s a short extract of what Michael Gerber, best-selling author of E-Myth, had to say: “When Chet Holmes called to tell me he was coming out with a book and would I take a look at it, I thought to myself, Oh, Chet, not another book on sales. Don’t misunderstand me; Chet is a barn burner when it comes to sales. Chet is a master at what he does. …no matter how much a master of sales Chet is, there are very very few folks who can turn that skill into a book that people read… I was afraid that when I began to read his book, I would have to tell him the truth; books are hard to do, Chet, but what the hell, you did a go...

The Art of Profitable Dealmaking
2007-07-25 18:01:00
Over the course of 30 years of devising marketing breakthroughs and teaching people to see monster profit possibilities –- Jay Abraham also became very masterful at setting up profitable joint ventures for himself. He does this by: identifying hidden possibilities, overlooked assets and underperforming activities and resources that no one else ever recognized. tieing up the rights; gaining control of the key assets, or access, (or usage) to their markets, intellectual property, etc. to something that no one else fully values yet. getting other people to do ALL the work necessary to monetize, mine and manage these revenue streams — while collecting and keeping the lion’s share of the ongoing profits. Jay Abraham calls it putting yourself in the “Toll-Booth Position,” — because everyone has to pay YOU per transaction, use or visit…whether you’re there or not. Last month, Jay presented some of his ideas to a group of 1,000 serious, passive income ...

Jay Abraham Mandarin Teleconference
2007-07-23 17:50:00
If you thought that I was going to write about a teleconference done by Jay Abraham in Mandarin , I’m afraid it didn’t happen. I don’t know whether Jay knows Mandarin (I doubt he does) but I think the chances of such a teleconference happening is close to zero. Now, what did happen was that Jay did a teleconference in English with a ‘live’ Mandarin translation. The teleconference teaches some of the basics of Jay Abraham and was meant to expose more people in China to his strategies. This is done in preparation for Jay’s trip next month where he will be going over to China to conduct his billion dollar marketing weekend. For the few of my readers who prefer listening to Mandarin compared to English, you might want to check out the recorded teleconference. As the original English audio is left intact in the recordings, English speaking readers of my blog wil also be able to follow the recorded teleconference too if they want to. Related PostsOf Join...

NKF - Marketing Powerhouse Gone Wrong
2007-07-14 18:02:00
Anyone who has studied Jay Abraham’s marketing strategies will know about his “Three ways to grow a business” and his “Going outside your industry” theory. Today, I want to share a case study about an organisation that became very successful by implementing some of Jay’s strategies. Whether it was because the ex-CEO had read some of Jay’s stuff or whether it was because he was himself a marketing genius, I do not know. The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) , a charitable organization in Singapore, built one of the world’s biggest non-commercial outreach dialysis chain and had the world’s largest per-capita sustained donation programme. Before things went awfully wrong, the NKF was having an annual turnover of $116 million, all of which came from public donations. This was no small feat for a country with a population base of just about four million people. Now, the NKF was no ordinary charitable organisation. It had an array of fu...

Upcoming Jay Abraham Events
2007-07-12 22:23:00
In the next two months, Jay Abraham will be travelling to Australia (14th-17th August), China (31st August - 02nd September) and Singapore (06th-08th September) to conduct a series of 3-day marketing seminars. These seminars not only help you to increase your bottomline by learning from Jay Abraham his marketing strategies, they also serve as a good platform to network with like-minded business owners to form mastermind groups and joint venture opportunities. China is particularly interesting as we all know the market there is red hot right now and many people are looking for the right connections to make inroads into the Chinese market. The Irresistible Offer by Mark Joyner
2007-07-09 05:54:00
I just finished reading a book The Irresistible Offer : How to Sell Your Product or Service in 3 Seconds or Less by Mark Joyner. The book comes with a whole lot of positive testimonials so I picked up a copy for myself. Here are some key points that I have extracted from the book. The core imperative of business is your offer. When you make an offer, you don’t want to make just an ordinary offer. You want to make The Irresistible Offer. To do that, you have to answer four questions in the prospect’s mind: 1) What are you trying to sell me? 2) How much? 3) Why should I believe you? 4) What’s in it for me? The first three appeal to the buyer’s logic while the last question goes to his emotions. These are addressed through three key elements: 1) A high ROI offer Even if you employ all the sales tactics and gimmicks in the world to get a buyer, you will end up with a very disatisfied customer if your product sucks. It is no longer sufficient to “sell the si...
Jay Abraham’s Four Cornerstones of Business Success
2007-07-03 19:41:00
Continuing from where I stopped for my discussion of Mastermind Marketing System, here are Jay Abraham ’s four cornerstones of business success: 1) To maximise what you are already doing. Get rid of sub-optimal tasks and replace them with far higher performing options. 2) To multiply your success by going outside your industry, borrowing their success processess and adding them as new revenue streams and activities. Your goal is to be first or only one to borrow and apply something in your industry that hasn’t been done before. 3) To replace the current mindset in your business with a new one called the “Strategy of Preeminence“. In the past, you only need to have a unique selling advantage over your competitors and you will dominate the industry. In the present age of the internet, this is insufficient. Instead, you have to be able to articulate your benefits and ability to fulfil your client’s outcome in such a way that they see you as the ONLY viable ...
