Sheena & Jared-The Rehearsal

Happy Friday everyone!!I'm a little late posting today,so here it goes.I was in Lake Charles yesterday eveningattending Sheena & Jared 's wedding rehearsal.For those of you that I have worked withand will be working with,you know I reserve the date of the rehearsalsbecause I do not like surprises.As much as weddings are the same;they are all different in what each coupledecides to do for their own.I like to know and be prepared for it,so that is why I attend rehearsals.It also gives me an opportunity to meetthe wedding party, parents, and everyoneinvolved in the wedding.It has worked out quite well.The wedding is tonight at 6:30 in Rayne.Since we took their engagement photoslast November, I thought I would post themin a slideshow as well as photos fromlast night's rehearsal.I will be unlocking Sheena's bridal gallerythis coming Monday, so be sure to check them out!!Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!!-Paul

Introducing..Jessie & Jeremy

Happy Tuesday!!Today I would like to introduceJessie & Jeremy .They came over the last 2 Saturdaysfor a consultation and to reservetheir wedding date of February 28, 2009.I love meeting with couples to discusstheir plans and details of what they wantand expect for their big day andthis couple is certainly no exception.I think we talked about everything,including their wedding, haha andI really felt comfortable with them.They have a love story that actuallygave me chills when they told mehow they came to be together.I could tell it, but I asked Jessieif she would type it out so I can shareit with everyone.She was gracious enough to do that andsent it to me last night, so here is theirstory in her words:My heart started fluttering for Jeremywhen I was just 11 years old, back in ?98.We rode the bus after school together,and since Jeremy had PE last hour,I would bring him a bottle of water every dayand we would sit together for our ride home.We became friends and in 2000,we went on o...

Good Friday morning!!Just a quick update today.I drove to Avery Island yesterdayto do Sheena's bridal session.I will be working on those photos today.Sheena looked fantastic and was alot of fun.She has asked me to keep the galleries lockeduntil her wedding, which is next Friday night.I have 4 bridal galleries locked until the weddingdate, and I assure you they are worth viewingonce the wedding comes.I had a ton of photos printed this weekand I will be out delivering some this morning,starting with Christy & Ben's album and DVD.I have a family session scheduled for this evening,and a follow up consultation from last weekendwith Jessie & Jeremy scheduled for tomorrow morning.This will be my last free Saturday for a while.I'll be pretty busy for the next 1 1/2 months.and I will have alot of pictures and good storiesI'm sure, so check back!!Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!-Paul

Good Thursday morning!!Today I would like to introduceErin & Brooks .I had the pleasure of meeting withthem yesterday for a consultation.Erin is from Lafayette and went to college in Alabama.Brooks is originally from Alabama.He is attending Auburn andif memory serves me right,she just graduated from Auburn this year.People that know me know I'm an LSU fanand wear my LSU cap as often as possible.I pretended to take it off yesterday whenshe told me where they went to school becauseI didn't want them to throw something at me!! hahaSince they are here for the week, we wentahead and scheduled the engagement session for tomorrow;weather permitting.The wedding is April 2009 at Rip Van Winkle Gardenson Jefferson Island.This will be my first wedding there so I'm prettyexcited about that.Of course, I had a camera ready before they leftand took a couple of photos of them.Check back for the engagement session!!Thanks for visiting and have a great day!-Paul
