Are You Meeting Your Goals?
2007-09-10 19:18:00 I always think that it’s timely to review your career goals occasionally and see which goals still make sense and which need to be updated or discarded. Writer’s Blog Review
2007-09-04 19:52:00 It’s time for another writing blog review. This time, I want to focus on the Writer’s Blog by Dana Prince. Although this blog has only been around for six months or so, it’s packed full of useful information. I keep bumping into Dana in other places (she’s a really friendly and helpful writer), so I’ve had the chance to chat with her. Her aim, much like mine, is to help other freelance writers do what she has done - create a successful freelancing career. So, what’s inside the blog? One of the early posts is Job Search Tips For Wannabe Writers. If you’re applying for your first freelancing job, Dana tells you what has worked for her. If you want to find out about distinguishing between the clients you want and those you should avoid, read Good Clients, Bad Clients and Life Lessons. And one of my favourite posts, which I’ve plugged before, is The Net Value of a Writing Assignment. There’s lots more good stuff on the blog. I parti... More About: Review
