There are several key points to focus on as a Leader to help you through this journey. We are all human and will make mistakes, but if we have clean hands and a clean heart, what we can't do, God will handle. Leaders don't know what tomorrow holds, but they do know who holds tomorrow.It's important that Leaders are visionaries. Obviously we can't see the future and this is what becomes challenging about being a visionary. We don't know exactly what will happen in the future but we must maintain the solid vision for the team.It's also important that Leaders don't pretend to be "in control". Are we in business or WHAT?
2007-02-08 18:07:00 This is a topic of discussion that I am pretty passionate about. Most of the time when people join a home based business, they do not treat it like a business. It is sad, but it is true. The industry standard in fact is that only 1 out of 4 will actually work their business. Isn't that mind boggling? Join a business and not even work it? The reality is 75% do just that. Out of the 25% who truly work their business, 60-70% do not actual call their clients. They pay for advertising and never follow up with their clients. No wonder only 2% of the general population is financially independent!This is a business. We all need to remove the mind set that this is a lottery ticket. A "get rich quick" concept. That is simply false! The Bible says that the wealthy work with diligent hands and a lazy man lives in poverty. Look around in your own life, is that not true? What a power packed event this weekend at the First Steps to Success seminar in Dallas, Texas!We had 94 Coastal Members present at the event and I am so excited to see the growth of their business as a result. There were red ribbons all over the room! We are elated by the level of personal growth that occurred within our own team. Congratulations to all of them for stepping up to the plate and investing in themselves and their business.Looking back on my own success, I can honestly tell you that my income has followed my personal growth, not the other way around. A doctor goes to school for 8-12 years (depending on specialty) and spends around $200K to get the education, skills and equipping he/she needs to make the kind of income I am making. Creating a Dynasty!
2006-11-20 04:44:00 I am getting very excited about Creating a Dynasty ! That is Dani Johnson's advanced seminar for those who have graduated from her First Steps program. The event has already sold out, which has been happening frequently with Dani's events lately. It doesn't surprise me at all, it just goes to show that good solid training is this industry is a much needed commodity. I often hear from individuals in other businesses that training is what they lack in their company, this is why they plug in thoroughly to Dani's training. We are fortunate with Coastal Vacations that the training and support is rock solid for all members.We are renting a beautiful home in Orlando for the event. It was recently appraised at 1.9 million dollars. There are 19 of us staying in the house and we were able to get it using our package for 50% of the regular rental rate. We are renting the home for 6 days/5 nights. I am pretty excited about seeing this home as the pictures are beautiful!Ashley's interpreter ...
Tribute.....
2006-11-07 20:32:00 I just returned from a funeral out of town. My Aunt Margaret (who we affectionately refer to as Aunt Maug) was laid to rest on Monday. She lived nearly 95 years and made an impression on more hearts than I can count.My childhood memories of Aunt Maug always bring a smile to my face. She was a bold woman, never afraid to tell you exactly what she thought and she didn't back down when it came to what she believed in. (We come from a long line of women just like that and I like to believe that I caught some of that from her growing up). She dressed exactly the way she wanted to dress, she was never a slave to "trends", she set her own trends! If she liked it, she wore it! She was poor financially her entire life, but rich with love. She would always come bearing gifts for my older sister, my brother and I when we were little. We loved to see her come through the door, full of life and bearing a small token of affection for each of us. We were never empty handed or empty hearted around... More About: Tribute , Tribu
