Brass Industry in Jamnagar plagued by pollution control norms

The latest pollution control norms have hit the Jamnagar Brass industry hard. All manufacturers of Brass screws, nuts ,Brass fasteners ,Brass lock nuts, Brass casting foundries and Bronze foundries have been asked to install expensive waste management systems which would cripple them financially.

Hi. Today was the day of rapid upward movement for Copper/Brass   where the prices surged by Rs 5 /kg in Brass and LME touched 4 month high.

Jamnagar Brass Parts Industry facing acute labour shortage

Jamnagar - The Brass centre of India is facing acute   labour shortage due to scuffles between  the locals and migrant workers. The police have done precious little to help the situation. This is affecting production schedules of Brass parts exporters in Jamnagar and giving a bad name to the industry as a whole.  Also the Dhristi Export scam has hit the Brass Component  manufacturers in Jamnagar big time. A conman  from Mumbai has done a lot of Brass part manufacturers in and waltzed off with millions of dollars worth of Brass turned parts after  issuing rubber checks.

Hi   LME Copper stock has for the  first time in last 3  weeks gone  down by 2625 tons. If this continues, is would be a  strong signal of an upward breakout .  For now , sit tight and watch out further stock numbers.  Sub prime fears have eased up now and it would be fair to say that they now do not matter.
