Negative Feedback on eBay - What to do if Someone Gives You Negative Feedba
2008-02-06 06:33:00 As a seller on eBay one of the scariest things to happen to you, is if you receive Negative Feedback from someone. Sometimes you may even get neutral or negative marks even if you didn't deserve it, so here are my top tips for dealing with bad comments on your eBay profile.Firstly if you haven't given the buyer your rating yet then you are in a good position. It is always best if you as a seller wait to give a response after the buyer has given you his first. Then if the worst case happens and you do receive a bad review you can leave a negative for him. Once you have done this, you can then contact him and see if you can agree to mutually withdraw both ratings and comments. This is done through eBay's mutual feedback withdrawal process. If you have already given the buyer his review then you have a few options:You can add a 'follow-up comment' to the one left for you. Always try to explain the situation as best you can such as 'Tried to Contact Buyer first, but he didn't resp... More About: Ebay

A Sure Fire Way to Get Your EBay Packages Delivered On Time
2008-02-06 03:53:00 EBay is a site that most of America knows about but they don't know everything about it because if they did I bet you tons of Americans would be running there own business on it. There are three parts to my philosophy to getting started with a quick small eBay business. The parts to my philosophy are so simple you just have to make sure that you make your own work schedule, get something to sell, and make sure that packages arrive on time. The first part to my philosophy is to make sure that you make your own work schedule. Yes this does sound like an easy step but this can be very challenging. You have to make sure that you are not skipping out on all the work that you have to get done. Just because you're your own boss doesn't mean you can take it easy. If you do take it easy you will learn the hard way and you won't be able to make any money. So just make sure that your schedule gives you enough time to finish all your listing, detailing, research, and all the other responsibi... More About: Time , Ebay , Fire , Ages

eBay Income - Hobby or Business
2008-02-06 03:43:00 Is eBay Money Income ?The short answer is yes. The money you received from selling items online is, indeed, income. If you have no receipt or other documentation to prove the amount you originally spent on the item, everything you received from selling it is considered profit. In this instance, it is as if you got the item for free and sold it for 100% gain, incurring no additional expenses along the way.Nothing in this world is free. So we will assume you did not obtain the item for free. How do you convince the IRS of this if you lost your original receipt? Give your inventory value. On your taxes, when valuing your inventory (the stuff you have sold or have available for sale) you can choose to use the exact amount you paid for something or the fair market value - which ever is less. This means, if you no longer have the receipt documenting what you paid for that old television you sold, you can use the fair market value. It is unlikely the fair market value would now be greater t... More About: Business , Hobby , Ebay
Selling Magazine Subscriptions on eBay May Be Profitable, But Is It Easy?
2008-02-06 03:39:00 There has been talk in the internet marketing and eBay seller community regarding selling magazine subscriptions on eBay and the reaction is divided to say the least. Many people are pretty skeptical about the whole process of selling magazines because when one does a simple ebay search for "magazine subscriptions" it seems that all of them are priced extremely low. There are 2 reasons for this:1. They are priced low because they are supplied extremely low. Some magazine subscriptions are offered for free from magazine clearinghouses, which means that whatever the eBay seller is selling them for is pure profit minus the eBay and payment processor fees.2. The seller that is listing the magazines on eBay does not have to do any actual work to fulfill the order other than emailing a simple spreadsheet to a magazine clearinghouse who then takes care of it. Because of this, a $4 or $5 profit per sale adds up pretty quickly when a seller is able to sell 50 to 100 magazine subscriptions ea... More About: Selling , Magazine , Ebay , Easy , Profitable

Use up all the available characters eBay allows.2) Description - Benefits not featuresMake sure your description stresses the benefits of the item to your, do not just mention its features.Remember that people are interested in themselves so tell people what it can do for them. Also have the 'small print' clearly visible on all your auctions, giving details of things like shipping times and prices, your refund policy, and any other business practices you might have. This helps build confidence with buyers.3) Improve your pictureYou can make your listing a lot more attractive by adding good quality picture(s) A blurred phot... More About: Business , Ebay , Build

How To Create Compelling Auctions In eBay?
2008-02-03 06:13:00 Listing an auction on eBay is as simple as ordering food from a Restaurant menu. All the same just like ordering food you need to consider all options available and select the option that you like the most to make your auctions effective. Not to forget cost is a consideration for most of us when eating out. Similarly as an auctioneer you want to keep the cost of hosting an auction at the minimal.Clicking the sell link on my eBay page and entering your product information and filling all text boxes is very intuitive and we all can do it but I want to share with you some considerations to think about when auctioning at eBay.1) Carefully word your description as that is the portion most of the readers go to get details about your product. You can make it colorful and creative but make sure you make it very informative and clear.Subtitles are charged but are useful as they show as some text below the auction so it can sometimes serve as good differentiator when looking at many auctions.... Why eBay No Longer Allows Sellers to Leave Negative Feedback
2008-02-02 06:21:00 The changes have been made official on the eBay site. One of the big changes is that sellers can no longer leave negative or neutral feedback on eBay. Yes you read that correctly, no more negative. Why has eBay decided to do this?Have you ever been to a mall and had an awful experience? Have you ever been treated poorly by a worker at a store? What is your first reaction. "I am never going back to that store!" This is one of the main reasons that eBay has decided to do away with the ability to leave negative feedback, is because being extremely rude to buyers hurts all of eBay. Not only does the seller not come back, but he tells his friends.Another reason that eBay has decided to get rid of the feedback is because the feedback percentage means nothing. Have you seen a feedback percentage of 99.8 and 99.5, and wondered how bad could these sellers? Buyers are so scared to leave a negative because they don't want to get negatives in return. So the feedback numbers were becoming obsol... More About: Ebay , Leave , Feedback , Sellers , Negative

The Amazing Ebay System With A Valuable Twist
2008-02-01 06:11:00 Setting yourself up with a guaranteed income stream on Ebay is now possible with a system that uses a method that we are all already comfortable with. A friend of mine, Dan, put me onto this a short while ago and I just had to write and tell you about it.I like PROVEN stuff, I like it because I KNOW it works and that someone other than me has taken the risks in checking it out and applying it, and possibly losing their money on it. Ebay should be a safe profit haven as its very transparent and very checkable. It has completed search features and you can see what everyone is selling and buying, and how much profit that those sales are producing. I find it strange that there is a whole market dedicated to fleecing the average Joe into selling and drop-shipping unprofitable products into the Ebay marketplace.I enjoyed writing this article as very occasionally you get a chance to pen your thoughts on a problem, and offer a workable and innovative solution to that problem.
