We explained to them about the ground not being solid because it was dug up to put new tile in. So when it rained the well got murky. After the sale they called us about the water being murky. We went up there to see if we could help them. We ended up buying them a top of the line water filter that goes directly onto holding tank. Also explained other things they could do to help it. All ws well for a couple of months. They still owe us money from the sale. I recently asked them for it and now they want us to replace the dug well. But NYCHA claims that my girlfriends lease has expired due to her death. Anyway I was served with Notice of Petition on Holdover Proceedings and a hearing is escheduled for February 11 2008. Is NYCHA correct about her lease being terminated. NYCHA continues to send documents and even a request for renewal of lease on my girlfriends name. Also I went through administrative hearings and my request for sucession of rights and to be granted a lease with NYCHA as a Remaning Family Member was denied on November 2007.
