My son is still living at home has no assests some college credit and a sketchy job history. The work needs to be done due to rampant decay of his teeth. The total bill for the first round of work is about $12000. Then he will need permanent crowns and bridges when this is finished. I have agreed to pay in order to have him get started. I also thought that this would be a good way for him to develop a credit history.

I am 52 my name is on all documents house car loans etc. along with my husbands. I am the beneficiary on all insurance policies. Do I still need a revokeable trust and do I have to do probate? Also when I pay off all debt I will only have a small pension $491.00 monthly and about $9000.00 left in cash. Should I pay off my house I owe $64000.00 at a fixed rate of 5% or is there a way to invest the money at more interest and should I keep paying house payments? Havent worked for 1 12 yrs due to auto accident.Diagnosed with Fibromyagia herniated discs five pinched nerves bad back torn Labrum in right shoulder that needs surgery etc. Dont know whenif Ill ever return to work.Mtg bal $110000.00.Receiving $1170.00 per month from Soc Sec Disablity. I hope to work again part time bringing in another $900.00 monthly. Without a mortgage I should be able to live off of this.In addition I have $29000.00 in savings. Im using this money to live off of. Also have 401K from a prior employer 2 times back for $1100.00 which I havent touched for lack of knowing what to do with it.I have NO debt except my mortgage. Total monthly mortgage pymt. is $1050.00 A little more than half is P&I other part taxes and HO ins. 30 yr. fixed @ 6.50%. Very good - excellent credit history. 2006 PAID OFF car with 11000 miles.My son is only child and freshman in college. Got him much financial aid and HE will pay remainder.Please advise! Thank you!

i live with someone who has purchased a house through a state title agency for the last 3 years 3months. i sold my house in illinois to move out to arizona with him we were involved in a relationship at the time we both renovated both places together mainly using money charged to a credit card in my name. myself and my mother have been paying 23s of the payment for that entire time and i would like to know if there is any legal action i can take as to a share of said property? there are 2 dwellings on the property. my mother lives in one and the gentleman and myself live in the other. we are not married and i have written a check for the payment in my name only for every payment. also he does not claim rent on any taxes for these rent payments in which he claims them to be. do i have any legal rights to a share of the property? yes i know i should have had my name put on the title.

What do I do if I went over my 401k contribution limit for the year?

I may have gone over the $15500 contribution limit for the year if my employer receives my request to stop contributing Im safe but its going to be down to the wire. Normally my employer would prevent me from contributing too much but I changed jobs this year so they dont know how much I contributed before I started with them.Anyway what are my options? Ive read that Ill have to pay tax on the amount that went over as earned income. Are there any alternatives like transferring the overage to an IRA?

my spouse has a 401 k which only allows us to put 20000 in per year and he maxes it out every year for the last 16 years. i have a 401-b which i will start to max our next aug each year. i took one year off of nursing. i have an ira i have been maxing out each year since i was 30 yearold. i am now 35. we need to know how to invest this money for our future. we do not need to spend any of it. we have a savings of 40ooo already. no dept in credit cardsno dept cardsno car notes. we pay our vechiles in cash only. yes we do have 3 children 86 and 3 years old. we plan to let them pay for college them selves as we did and pay offf their own loans as we did. no reason for us to pay for their adult college they will be knowldgeable. they each have a savings of 3000 about each. they are taught to save thair money early on.
