Art, Music and Suffering…
2011-09-29 21:01:00 “Great music and art is not created through happiness, but rather through deep pain and suffering.” A look at any artist or musician over the centuries, reveals great pain and suffering in which have resulted in masterpieces. Mozart suffered from deep depression, in the later part of his life, which was also the most productive time of his life. In his last year, when great illness struck, he produced his most revered works, including The Magic Flute, Clarinet Concerto and the unfinished, nonetheless amazing, Requiem. Deep, cold, misery and despair are quite evident in Picasso’s Old Guitarist, as in many of his works during his Blue Period. A results of living in poverty and the suicide of his best friend Carlos Casagemas. More recently we’ve seen the evidence of this in Hip Hop. In the early days, Hip Hop was fired by struggle and pain, which gave it a unique edge of realism. Today it’s a sure fire business model to pop fame, solely bas... More About: Music , Suffering
Today’s Gratitude – Be Grateful For Your Spouse
2008-12-04 14:57:00 Today’s Gratitude Express gratitude to your spouse, or whoever that special person is in your life is. Don’t just be grateful, let them know that they’re appreciated. Sometimes we tend to take advantage of having that special someone in our life, that person who’s always by our side and goes out of their way to make sure we’re alright. Throughout the day today, every time this person extends their kindness to you, see it as if a stranger just did this. How would react if a stranger went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable? In many instances, we’re probably more likely to express more gratitude to a stranger for their kindness, rather than our other half, it’s actually kind of sad. So express your gratitude to him or her to the fullest extent and let that gratitude grow with each act of kindness. Be grateful that somebody loves you! More About: Today
The Conscious Awareness Experience Day 4
2008-08-05 09:03:00 I’ve been very aware of my actions. Of each action, I’ve been observant of my thoughts. What I realized today, was I have been on auto – pilot when it come to decision making. This is something I never really considered, which shows how automatic and engraved in my mind it was. I’ve been completely unaware of the decisions I make. I seem to just make them. Even during the this conscious awareness experience, I’ve been very aware of my actions and my thoughts, but have not been at all aware of my choices, and decision. It’s a very fine line, in some instances I’ve been conscious of how I would react emotionally and physically to a situation, but at the same time reacting through the decisions I make, completely unaware. I was aware of grabbing hold of the beer bottle, putting it to my lips and the delicious taste on each of my millions of taste buds. At the same time, unaware of when I made the decision to drink that beer. So, what&... More About: Experience , Awareness
The Conscious Awareness Experiment Day 3
2008-08-04 06:15:00 This mind is a trickster. He makes me feel like i’m suffocating when I don’t let him express himself, when I’m in a state of awareness, and it’s not his time to speak. When he’s given the chance to speak, he’s silent. He just wants control! Awareness is the only true transformation I have undergone. Many times I have said I would change my ways, that I would do things differently, but only through this awareness experience have I actually seen change. Today, was the first day in my awareness experience that I was surrounded and interacting with others all day. The previous days, I’ve had the luxury to be in semi-seclusion. Thus, it was quiet an interesting day, in which I learned a lot about myself, and my mental and physical patterns. Quiet a few times I found that I did not react as I normally would, automatically, because of awareness. My wife did something, that in an unaware, unconscious state would of triggered a very negative... More About: Experiment
The Conscious Awareness Experiment Day 2
2008-08-03 10:30:00 The gaps between thoughts is where awareness lives. Thoughts need space, awareness is in the present, there is no space. Therefore there can be no thoughts. Being aware in every moment, not an easy task, but with disciple and practice can be attained. Awareness is a seed, nuture it and it will grow into a tree. With awareness actions are performed more accurately, because you are co-creating each the results of each action. A cook create wonderful tasting food, because he is aware of each ingredience he is using. It is the quality of his awareness that make the wonderful taste. Those who are world class in what they do, are so because of the awareness they bring to what they do. When you bring awareness to each and every task you do, to each and every action you take, you are co-creating the result by simply being aware of what you are doing, you are giving each action the energy attention and focus, think about how the law of attraction works. That which you give you en... More About: Experiment
The Conscious Awareness Project Day 1
2008-08-02 10:52:00 This first hour of awareness is feeling very uncomfortable. I feel the turbulance inside of me. As I keep focused on staying aware of exactly what I am doing in each moment, my mind wants to throw up and lash out everything inside it…it wants to scream and shout, it feels very uncomfortable because it is not in control. I can physically feel it in my solarplexus as a weight. This uncomfortablity maybe be because the first thing I do every morning after waking up is let my mind free, that is the time when it it is most active, goes off about everything good and bad. But now I have shifted my awareness to that which Im doing in the very moment. My mind will have it’s chance to let loose and pour out everything, but only when it is time to do so and I can be completely aware of that as well, this way I can be aware of what’s going on in my mind, what thoughts I’m having. —– Side-note —– It’s a funny thing, just a little ... The Conscious Awareness Experiment.
2008-08-01 05:14:00 The word Awareness has been striking a chord with me lately. I realized this last week, when I was speaking to Bapuji ( one of my spiritual guru’s ). Something about it really stuck with me when he mentioned the word. Then again, yesterday as I was doing my Discovery Series exercise, that involved focusing on one of my top three goals for 20 mins. The goal I was focusing on was, ‘Constantly overflowing with Love and Bliss.’ So, as I focused on this, journaling, going through articles and then watching a video by OSHO, on love. Again and again I came across the word awareness, and it kept ringing in my head. The first thing I did after waking up this morning, was read some Osho, and again there was Awareness! I realized awareness is knocking on my door, very loudly. I’ve decided for the few days, to be aware in every moment, with every thought, feeling and action. I will be sharing this experiment with you all, by posting a blog about it each day, it wi... More About: Experiment

My Dream Business, Came True.
2008-08-01 04:29:00 Life Path Unlimited is really a dream business for me. Ever since I was very young, I dreamt of being so many things, as we all do. I’ve always been fascinated with the human mind, I had the desire to get inside peoples minds, because it would allow me to understand and help them. The only avenue I saw for me to do that, at the time, was to become a Psychiatrist. But, I never had the desire to go to Medical school, or any school for that matter. After taking a few psychology classes in college, I quickly realized that psychology was mostly bullsh*t, to me. I didn’t agree with the classifications of different types and groups of people, mainly because I believe each person is an individual and should be treated as such. My spiritual background wouldn’t allow me to classify and judge people. So, what I was really looking for was a spiritual approach to the mind. A few years after leaving college, I started studying personal development. Many of the thi... More About: Business , Dream , True
7 Steps to A Stronger Mind
2007-06-25 22:16:00 This is a great article by Mark Victor Hansen, of the Chicken Soup for The Soul series. It discusses 6 steps to strengthen your mind. I’ve added some resources to help you with the steps he discuss as well as a 7th step of my own. The 7th step is what help me create the positive transformation in my life and I would love to share it with you. Enjoy! “Our minds are all we’ve got. They are the source of who we, both personally and professionally, are. They determine our success or failure. They are our strength and our weakness. With the quality of our entire lives resting on our minds, it’s unbelievable that we choose to fill them with so much garbage. The amount of negativity from television, newspapers, tabloids and other media that bombards us on a daily basis is amazing. We would never think to fill our bodies with only junk food, right? Heck no. We know that if we ate nothing but French fries and ice cream we would experience negative consequences like skin b... More About: Mind , Tron , Step , Strong , Stronger
Business Quote by John Davison Rockefeller
2007-06-25 20:25:00 “ A friendship founded on business is better than a business founded on friendship.” - John Davi s on Rokerfeller This quote really resonates with me because I’ve been able to create some great friendships with those I’m in business with. Being able to do business with a group of like minded people is just an amazing thing! Not only are we like minded in the way we do business but also in who we are personally and that’s what allows us to create these life long friendships. We are servant hearts, our passion is to help people succeed and transform their lives. So, naturally many of our philosophies and belief come from a place of serving others. We are all self-empowered individuals embracing our full potential and working constantly to improve our lives and the lives of those around us. We are visionary who see and realize their is no limit to what we can achieve. This is something I’ve always struggled with when it comes to my friend... More About: Business , Rockefeller
Quotes By Pema Chodron-understanding and learning Meditation
2007-06-25 19:49:00 “Sometimes we find that we like our thoughts so much that we don’t want to let them go.” - Pema Chodron Sometimes we do this with thoughts we don’t like so much. We must learn to let go of all thoughts, let them simply pass as you observe. Always return to that place of silence, the gap in between the thoughts. Getting inside that gap is what meditation is all about. Dr. Wayne Dyer teaches this method of meditation in his book, Getting in the Gap: Making Conscious Contact with God Through Meditation (Book with CD), which comes with a guided meditation CD. If your looking for a clear understanding of what meditation is, this book will defenitely help to do that, as well as experience the meditative state. May Silence be with you! The Sun, The Moon and Love
2007-06-04 22:17:00 Nature of Sun and Moon If you ask the Sun or the Moon, “why do you shine so bright everyday?” They will respond, “it is in my nature to do so.” Shining their light upon us is what they love to do, they do it happily and whole heartedly. Even if their light goes unappreciated, they still shine bright everyday! We should learn to love this way… Love , because it’s in your nature to do so…. Love, with all you’ve got…. Always Say “Your Welcome!”
2007-06-04 22:14:00 Many times we do something nice for someone and they show their appreciation by saying “Thank you,” often we make the mistake of saying “Ah, it was nothing,” but by not accepting their gratitude we cut off the flow of energy. This is a give and get Universe. The Act of giving is an exchange of energy. A gift, a smile, a thank you are all forms of emotional energy exchange. A gift is not a gift when it’s given, only when it’s accepted. In return for the gift we’re given a thank you, when we don’t ‘welcome’ the thank you, it’s like the other person not accepting you gift. Now if a gift is not a gift when it’s given, only when it’s accepted, the same goes for an insult. An insult is only an insult, when we choose to receive it. Choose not to receive insults, instead silently bless the person insulting you. This puts you in control of your emotions and that is true Freedom! So keep the positive energy f... More About: Always

Who Are You?
2007-05-25 18:29:00 We’re often guided by the misconception that we are human beings who have occasional spiritual experiences, on contrary, we’re actually spritual beings having a human experience. Ask yourself, who am I? Are you your body? You are not your body. Say you had to have your leg amputated, if you were your body, amputating your leg would make you less of a person. You wouldn’t be a whole person. We all know that physical disabilities don’t make a person any less. You’d still be you! Are you your reputation and achievements? If you hadn’t done what you’ve done in your life, would you not be you? If your college degree and your highly regard status were taken away from you, who would you be? You cannot control your reputation. Your repuatation is what others think of you, you cannot be responsible for what others think of you, for you cannot control their thoughts! If you meet fifty people, you’ll have fifty different reputations. All...

How to get the results you want!
2007-02-13 15:48:00 What do you do when your not getting the results you want? Change your habits! Our habits are the action which determine the results we get. It’s the little things we do on a daily basis, the things you may think don’t really matter that much, but in fact they are very important. For example, if you trying to lose weight don’t take that extra bite. You may think “well it’s just one bite,” but over time those bites add up. If you took just one extra bite with each meal, it adds up to 1,095 extra bites over the course of a year. Those little bites are what make the difference. So what should your habits be? Ask yourself, what are the people that are getting the results I want doing? What are their habits? Once you learn what their habits are, analyze your habits and change whatever is necessary. If you apply the habits successful people apply, your bound to get successful results! More About: How To , Results , Want , Result

The Secret To Successful Relationships
2007-02-13 15:40:00 Don’t you wish everyone in your life was kind, caring and trustworthy? I’m sure you do. If two people were to look at the same piece of art, one may see a beautiful masterpiece; the other may see a bunch of ugly colors put together. We view people in the same light, by means of personal preference. Here’s a great little story from John C. Maxwell’s book 25 Ways to Win with People: How to Make Others Feel Like a Million Bucks. A traveler nearing a great city asked an old man seated by the road, “What are the people like in this city?” “Whate were they like where you came from?” the old man asked. “Horrible,” the traveler reported. “Mean untrustworthy, detestable in all repsects.” “Ah,” said the old man, “you will find them the same in the city ahead.” Scarcely had the traveler gone on his way when another stopped to inquire about the people in the city before him. Again the old man asked about the people in the place the traveler had just left. “They... More About: Relationships , Relationship , Success , The Secret , Secret
The Problem With GOD
2007-02-13 15:33:00 We make GOD out to be one who has control over us. Some what a parental figure, who expects us to do certain things a certain way. We believe he’s going to punish us if we don’t do things his way. We think GOD is above us, separate from us. When in reality we are one with GOD. He wants just one thing and that is for us to live as happily as we can. Doing only things that make us happy. Once you start doing only things that make you happy, you’ll see how GOD partners up with you to help you along the way. Contrary to the common belief, He does not punish. The pain we feel as well as our happiness is a result of what we think. If you think GOD is going to punish you for a committing a sin and something happens in your life to hurt you, your automatically going to think GOD punished you. In actuality you attracted this pain to your life because you were awaiting a punishment. Your mind was set on punishment form the guilt you felt by committing that “sin.” According t...
