Back again and this time to announce Startups in Twitter . Do you ask why? Well, simply because we're in a time crunch and cannot keep up with all the mails and requests to review startups, new product, service launches, feature enhancements etc., in addition to other related stuff. While we already provided a way for individuals to publish news on their own on Startups.in without requiring our intervention at startups in news, it looks like people still find it cumbersome or are just lazy. ;-) So in an attempt to simplify it further, we came up with this idea to allow anyone to quickly publish anything related to startups in twitter style. We therefore would appreciate it if you could twitter whatever you wanted to say about your startup @ Startups in Twitter instead of waiting for us to announce your startups. We also promise to follow each and every twitter and give due attention to every request as time permits.

GetDropBox Invites To Be Limited

I've lost count on number of GetDropBox invites I sent out and the number of emails I have replied to in the last 48 hours. But all good things have to come to an end (well, not really ;-) ) and so does this invite bonanza. Drew Houston, the CEO of GetDropBox sent a note stating that they will be changing the policy in the next 1 hr or so and implement a 5 person limit on invites. However, the invites I've already given out won't be affected. Thanks to Drew and his team for coming out with an excellent product and the free ride so far ;-).

Have sent invites to all those who requested in response to "Drop box Beta Invite Code" post. I've also personally acknowledged all the requests. You should have received an email by now from GetDropBox directly which would have the invitation link. In case you still have not yet received an email, then check your junk folders. If you still don't find the invitation, then let me know so that I can resend it to you.

We don't get to see impressive services from startups very often. But when we do come across one, we cannot resist ourselves from sharing it with our near and dear. Dropbox is one such startup offering not just a cool application but a service which we really want to use. We have few invites to share. So, just let us know if you need one.
