Loosing track
2007-04-02 06:39:00 Ok, So I have just read back to a few posts and see that it may appear I am loosing track of where I began? Well, from my perspective, I am not. I am still on course and reving ahead. I am still educating myself on what my future will bring and what I can bring to my future.I still have the 2 businesses, although 1 of them I am starting to shift back a few gears as I am learning new things that I don't like about it:o) But we live and learn no? That's what my mission is all about, and that is what the purpose of this blog is about. To report what I am doing, try and track progress and sift through the good, the bad, the ugly and the totally attractive:o)My main mission in life still remains to be financially free, and this is still my major goal. Just how and when I get there may change along the way. I am still and am always looking for new things to get involved inand am quite happy to sit and do my research and learn as I go. I never said I was in this for the short ter... More About: Sing , Track , Rack , Trac
Wooohooooo
2007-04-02 02:06:00 Well, a quick update on my last post. All went well. We can begin our journey to financial freedom. WooHoo.However......yeah.......we are gonna wait 12 months. Currently our interest rate is the best we will get for a long while. So we have planned, re budgeted and decided to offset everything against our mortgage and get as much as we can paid into it so in 12 omths we will be able to either get 2 properties or get something that is worth while. So the outcome is that we can do it, which is why we went in the first place. great news for us.I have some other interesting stuff to post about online investments, soi'll get to it as soon as I have the time.Haven't forgotten about the secret either. Time keeps running away.....
Too Much going on?
2007-03-26 02:58:00 Well, since my last post I have found the secret. Altho haven't watched it yet, but I have my copy here waiting. I haven't forgotton, after I watch it I will post my opinion ( I am sure I'll have many:o)So I am posting today, cause today my partner and I are taking the first major steps towards our long term goal. We are off to see the wizzard - our mortgage broker - to see where we stand financially to starting our property portfolio. Baby steps all the way.We have been searching for a property we believ is within our means that will create a positive cashflow. We think we found 3 different properties over the weekend. All we need to do is re asess the number crunchng today and make a decission. The decission is not whether to go ahead or not - we know we will as it's our dream- but mainly to asess whether we want to start now, or wait 12 months before we take the plunge. Once you make the decission to become an investor, you're 50% there already. For us, we have the cash ... More About: Much , Going , Goin
A little Slow?
2007-03-19 05:00:00 Now, Forgive as I am a little slow at somethings. I have heard about 'The Law of Attraction'. I have come across 'The Secret' websites. I have read reviews from multiple companies etc that endorse This 'Secret'. A friend of mine lent me an audio of a book called 'The Science of Getting Rich'. Now I often listen to audios while I am driving (I find it's the best place where I don't get inturupted) So I popped this one in........What a great concept, I was actually listening to this disc and enjoying it. ( always a good thing to enjoy what you listen to no? hmmm :o)BUT. I tell you, after about 10 mins I had to turn the thing off. Where on earth do they find these people who read audio books? Honestly, I think if I had to listen to this women for another milli second, she was going out the window and into someones garden probably. Poor lady.So I haven't actually got around to buying the book (it will be an addition to my list).Well today, my daughter is at day care ... More About: Little , Slow , Litt
I forgot to say....
2007-03-13 04:54:00 I meant to say before that when I say I am on a journey, I don't mean a 2 week vacation. I have a long term plan. I recommend to anyone reading this who is interested in securing their future, don't think quick. There is no such thing as get rich quick. Start to research what others have and are doing. It will take me at least 5 years to build the foundation I need to progress towards my dreams and goals. (read previous post)So for me 5 years isn't a long time. I am 32 years old and by the time I am 40 I will have enough wealth to retire and begin planning for my kids future. 40 is just the beginning for me. How old will you be?I don't know how many times I have to tell people to start now. It's not too late for anyone. Are one of these peopel who say money doesn't matter or i'll never be rich? If you are.......it's these words that are you're reasons.Everyone has dreams. Do you dream of what you would do if you won the lottery? Of course you do and do know what?...
Investing in the future
2007-03-13 04:33:00 Well, today I made my first (of many) payment towards securing my future. If you didn't know....that's why I am here. I am posting this for myself and anyone who is interested in my personal journey. So back to the payment. I will not disclose any information on the comapny I have funded money in, until I know for sure I can feel comfortable in my recommendations. I only say this as is it is an online funding company and it is a risk. But if you're a savvy investor then you'll know risks are inevitable :o)I decided to make this payment as it appears to be a great opportunity. I have researched the company in many ways I know available on the net and have not found anything negative. So I took the plunge. My reason for sharing this with you is becuase it's now the 3rd step I have taken towards becoming wealthy. Now I don't consider wealth to be taken lightly. I use the word wealthy because it has a different value to rich. We all say we want to be rich. But wouldn't y... More About: Future , Investing , The Future , Vest , Sting
Learning again
2007-03-06 07:52:08 Well I would like to go back a couple of spaces. As I have said before I am educating myself a little more each day. My self education began with the reading of one of the best selling authors in business and finance, Robert Kiyosaki.Rich dad, Poor dad. Did you read it yet? Please get this book and give it a read if you haven't. You will not believe how different your views on life and money will change. If you have tried to read it and not found much interest in it, all I can say is you are not ready YET.In this book Robert actually puts a few REAL questions in your head. You know... the answers to these questions are in your head, whether you have read the book or not. You just don't know the answers yet, cause you brain hasn't been prompted. One of Roberts views: (in MY words)When you were young (or perhaps you still are?) Do you remember your parents saying, 'you need to go to school to get good grades so you can get a good job and have all that you want?I remember my parents... Not Selling...
2007-03-01 01:47:01 OK I know in my last post I said I was going to reveal more about this busines number 2. Well After lying in bed last night reflecting on o few things, I decided it might be a bad decission.I didn't create this blog to turn it into a sales page. So the last thing I want to do to people reading this is put them off by trying to upsell in every post I write. This blog is for me. To track my prgress towards my goals and tell others how and why I am doing this. So for now I am going to do just that. I am going to put a little more into my businesses and then I will disclose some more information!! You may think this is being cagey? Well it's not. It's to protect you and me.Once I am more savvy in there ares I need to be then I can discuss my progress, what I have been doing to get there. That way I am sticking to my goals of helping people instead of turning into the dreadaed sales person that noone wants to talk to cause all they do is try and sell you somethingThats NOT me. So now I have 2 businesses
2007-02-28 07:45:02 It might seem I am jumping all over the place here..... you're right. This is about business number 2Ok. So if you have read through my posts, you will have read about 'that' friend who was hounding us to go and see this presentation for this 'thing' he is involved in? So a quick re cap. He gave us a dem o presentation at his house as practice for himself (of course with the alteriative motive of enrolling us.) But hey at the end of the day he is a friend so we go with the flow.Anyway, after walking away from that presentation I told you how I finally understood what it was about. NOT THE PRODUCT. But the way it worked.I can honestly say, I think the ONLY reason I finally understood the methods to his maddness was due the valuable reading I have done. Since I started reading (Robert Kiyosaki) I really have changed my ways and the way I think. It's not like brain washing, it just opens up areas of the brain you never realised you had. So in a manner of speaking, you brain alre... More About: Business , Businesse , Esse , Have , Ness
What the past had................
2007-02-27 13:44:02 HiI have decided to create this blog in the hope of finding and helping people like me. So I'll give you a brief overview of how and why I came to this point in my life.So 3.5 months ago I was working fulltime (salaried Sucker) for an international hotel company. I had been with the comapny for 8 years, working as conference coordinator. I loved my job.I had perfected the balance between family and work (or so I thought ;o)The pressure was building both at home and at work. My partner, Mike and I worked different shifts to enable us to care for our daughter Gracie at minimum costs, as I am sure many people are in the same boat.So there I was 9-5 and Mike was 2-11pm. My parents are close by and helped out with childcare when Gracie wasn't at day care. After working for 18months straight after Gracie was born, we decided to take a well earned break. We went overseas to see family and friends for 6weeks. God we needed that break. That break was a huge eyeopener for us. Mike was despera... More About: What , Hat , Past , What The
What's next?
2007-02-27 13:44:02 So there I was a stay at home mum. What the?........i didn't know what had hit me. I planned out days for Gracie with activities and fun. After a couple of weeks a low set in. I love my new life. I love spending time with my family, preparing dinner for Mike, having a clean house should rank somewhere high on list too. just generally having time to do the things I couldn't be bothered to do when I was working and balancing full time and then some.So what was wrong with me? Why was I feeling so low? Yes I missed the girls at work and I missed being there and communicating with my clients (not MY clients anymore) but that wasn't the problem. It was My BRAIN. My Brain.....
2007-02-27 13:44:02 So realising that my brain was being underworked and definately no pay comming in. I decided to search for the ultimate business that would ern me millions. Oh yes. It's that easy....NOT.So I searched for an online business to solve my problems. I started a website called ebaby2work. That's me I am an 'e' baby. new to this wonderful world :o)I reckon, you name it, I've been there and got a ew T-shirts. I experimented with the whole affliate programs and referals. Which I have now learnt, seems to be the way for mosy newbies go. My aim was to build a website for mums looking for the ultimate business. Well it's easy to sell anything. you can sell ice to the eskimos if you know how. But how do you sell something that you are not successful with yourself? Hmmmm.I have paid for get rich quick schemes and read way too much information from different people. So then I faced a whole new dilema. BRAIN OVERLOAD. More About: Rain , Brain
The Overload
2007-02-27 13:44:02 As I was saying I now suffered a new type of symptom. BRAIN OVERLOAD. if you have been in my shoes at any one time in your life you'll understand what I am talking about. I just went out and rushed into it without stopping for a breath. That's why I ended up with the overload of information.I had totally confused myself in which direction I was headed and what exactly it was I wanted to do. Of course making money was still at the top of the list.....but not happening. However, from all the information I had absorbed over those couple of months, I did find a creative side of ME. A side to me which I had never tapped into. Like a niche of myself. So now as I type this, I am full of inspirational ideas. Yes. They're just ideas. But transformable. So read on if you want to know what step I took next....... More About: Over , Load , The O

2007-02-27 13:44:02 I decided to have a break for a few weeks. In that time a good friend of mine invited us round for a demo presentation of a business he has tapped into. First eaction was my god. Anyway we went we saw and walked away :o)But this time after months of listening to our friend, Something clicked in what he was selling. It wasn't the product but the idea of the scheme. It is a business that worked the same as any online, with downlines and profit cheques and all the wonderful tools you need to be a millionaire. Finally I walked away smiling, knowing that I had new knowledge and direction in where I was headed. That day I decided what my niche would be.MY NICHE IS ME ( for now) More About: Baby , Step , Steps

2007-02-27 13:44:02 Well I have been working on my 'new' business for about a week now! I have enrolled 27 people under me and still growing! Now I have seen many MLM businesses and decided against them as they didn't really suit my needs. So when I signed up for this one, I remained skeptical. (still am a little) So positively moving forward, I am gonna give it a go. It's great to think that in a week I can sign up the average of 4 people a day! But I ask how long will this last? I answer to myself, as long as I keep going. Now MLM seems like blasfamy on the internet. People back away before even researching the business offers. Well news for everyone. This isn't actually MLM. It's what we call MRM.Multi Referal Marketing. We offer a fre service to anyone building an online business and a bricks and mortor business for that matter.Anyone is invited to join as free member to advertise their business or themselves.
