I have been seeing a lot about these paid survey sites for a while now but personally haven't taken part in them until now!Since this is relatively new to me I definitely want to find out more about it. I think what got me more interested was that someone posted that they made $6,000 just by taking paid surveys!If this is a legitimate way that one can work from home I am all for it! Here is some advice that I tried to post on one of the Ebay message boards but it wouldn't go through so I decided to post it here. If you're thinking about selling on Ebay, I hope this advice will help you.... i havent started selling yet.. mostly imtrying to learn.......> here is some of my story - im a 24 yr old (almost 25)disabled person(woman)...> . - ive tried going to work, and going back to work and looking for work, finding work and getting fired from work.... in between college, hospital visits, and other things..... ive come to the conclusion recently that i am unable to hold a "normal" job - possibly forever.... but i really got interested in starting a home business - especially when i started talking to an online buddy of mine... we want to start an online store together. i have tons of ideas for our store.. I was watching an episode of Dr. Phil today and it was about getting help with one's financial situation(s).There was one couple profiled who were in a lot of financial debt a few years ago. They had maxed out on their credit cards and they were having a lot of financial problems! Fast-forward to the present and the wife is making $6,000 a month working online being a virtual assistant! You can do some checking online but basically being a virtual assistant means that you are providing help to other via being online and on the internet. Frappr is a site where you can create a map of almost anything that you like. As I mentioned before, one of my hobbies is 3D designing and I have a blog called The 3D Beginner. Since there is so much to learn about 3D designing I go to a lot of 3D-related websites and that is how I found out about this latest job opportunity!Daz3D is a website about 3D designing and its also a community of sorts for 3D designers as well! Designers here sell their work such as 3d models that they have made and textures made specifically for 3D models as well. Although this is a great site to be able to sell one's 3D-related models there is also a link to the site's "job opportunities" as well! They have a lot of graphic-related job openings and they even have a job opening for a senior web designer. They also have some business-related job openings as well! A Government Grant "Scam" Alert!

As someone that does grant research and consultations for a living, it pains me to have to read articles about companies and / or other businesses that are not operating on the up and up! I read an online article about one such company and I will be providing a link to it below the blog post.It seems that this "government grant" business asks you to pay something like $1 or $2 plus shipping and handling for sending you their government grant cd. BUT you might also be billed monthly on your credit card account! It's supposed to be in the fine print. They are currently advertising on the popular Facebook site(s).Here is a link to the article. This is one of my favorite TV shows! Initially I started watching it because I am a big fan of David Boreanaz (and yes I'm a big "Angel" and Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan too But as I started to watch the program I grew more interested in the main female character. (and its supposed to be based on a real-life woman). The reason being is because she is good at what she does - so much so that she has become wealthy by getting her own book deals - and yes this does happen in real life! Okay! You have a computer and you would like to work from home BUT you don't know what you could possibly do?Well the mere fact that you have a computer of your own at home is a very big PLUS!Of course I hope that it doesn't surprise you that not everyone has their own computer. Even more interesting is the fact that even though some people do have a computer they are still willing to pay other people to find information for them!Here is a good example!I have a client which is an older woman who pays me to find the cheapest airline flights for her. She is a former co-worker and I still see here often and when she found out that I was a computer nut she asked me to find her some cheaper airline fares. Now she does have a computer of her own but for reasons of her own she would rather have someone else find the information for her. (And in this case that someone else just happens to be me! You never know where a possible client can come from!

Here is a link to an online article that lists over 10 ways to make (more) money in 2009.Some of the suggestions might seem obvious - but maybe only obvious to some. I won't give away all the details of the article but I will mention that one of the suggestions stood out (to me) because its something I hadn't even thought about.Did you know that there will be another census taken by our government to count the population (again)? And of course they are going to need census takers.........Of course this wouldn't be a "work at home if there wasn't some mention of being able to do something that you can do working from home and this online article does mention a couple of ways.So I hope you enjoy the article and I hope it gives you some ideas!

Never Give Up?

I just posted on my Foreclosure 101 Blog about a family that managed to save their home from foreclosure by putting up a website and asking for donations! (So far they have received over $10,000 in donations!)While this is very good news some things in the article stood out to me. The first was that the mother had said that she was determined that foreclosure of her home was NOT going to happen! She had made up her mind and she had made it come true!The second thing was the mere fact that they had put up a website to ask for donations - which is something that I have talked a lot about in this blog!Personally I was very dis-heartened when AOL discontinued its webpage hosting for its members (which I am one of!) but there are still hosting sites online where you can put up a website for free! There is also still Blogger.com where you can create a blog for free as well!I highly applaud this family's effort and I hope it encourages everyone that where there is a will there is a way!

You should also find their contact information and contact them to find out what their procedure is for hiring voice talent. Advertising agencies are also a good source of information. Once your reputation grows you should be able to get more and more work. Do a little surfing online and find out more about how to to become a professional voice actor. There is bound to be a good bit of information about it online.
