I would say all in all the overall outcome of this laptop is that you will either love or hate it, quite hard to choose really so we will let you decide. It also appears that according to a Computex invitation from ASUS they are planning a brand new variant on the Eee PC above and beyond showcasing the Eee PC 901. Everyone seems to be talking about the expected Eee PC 901, but there looks like the new Eee PC 1000 is also to be shown at Computex 2008. Obviously with MSI Wind launching their 10 inch mini notebook Asus would take steps to launch one of their own in competition, and this is looking to be a duo assault with their Eee PC 901 and 1000. Well now everyone can have the chance of loving the Advent K200 laptop because the Advent K200 has got removable face plates that you can change when you feel like it with other ones. These are all obviously sold separately, the 1.73 Dual Core processor, 100GB hard drive, 2GB of Memory, 15.4 inch screen laptops is pretty decent in itself, but hey to spice things up a little you can buy these face plates for this laptop for only $40, the Advent K200 laptop on the other hand is $760 more at a cool $800. The demonstration showed a full screen multi-touch interface which is embedded into the operating system. There was a surface-like application for photo organising, something that could possibly be the Windows 1.0 Pain application, except with this Paint it now allows drawing with your fingers, a piano application so you can play cords, and a digital globe application. But aside from a sneak glimpse at the touch enabled Windows task bar, that was the lot.
