When a person uploads any file, it can be a movie, a software etc. what he does that he makes a torrent file of it. A torrent file is nothing but a pointer file which points the people who wants to download the file into the pool where exchanging of file is going on between different computers(peers).Suppose that i want to upload a movie, I will make a torrent file os the movie with the help of my respective client like bitcomet or whatever and i will upload that torrent file on a tracker which stores the torrent files. n suppose now u wants to grab the file, u will download the torrent file and u'll open that in ur client. Now the torrent file will point ur computer to the pool in which i have invited u to download the file. Now i will be uploading the file(Seed) and you will be downloading the file(Leech)when some more computers will enter the pool, we will all be together known as Peers .
