Proton Savvy will be the next passenger car model that will export to China this year after Gen2. The Gen2 is now officially launch in China with the partnership with Youngman Automobile Sales Co Ltd with a name as Europe star RCR. Proton Savvy was already being exported as left-hand drive to Taiwan, meaning that's high possibility it will be exported in 2008 to China.The Europestar RCR, with the help from Lotus the RCR is fitted with a 112hp Campro engine. Considering the fact that the US market has always been a strategical place for Lexus , it is no surprise to see the "Race Ready" version of the super sedan Lexus IS make its debut next year in the ALMS (American Le Mans Series ) alongside the Porsche 997 GT3, Panoz Esperante, Dodge Viper or the dominating Ferrari F430GT (champion).The GT2 category which already was the most interesting last year (the Corvette had no competition in GT1, same for the Audi R10 in LMP1 despite outstanding performances from the Porsche Spyder in LMP...2) is getting even better with the Lexus IS 350GT. As you can see, Lexus decided to go for the 3.5 liter V6 instead of the IS-F 8 cylinders motor. New Ford Turbocharged Ecoboost Engine

Ford will introduce it new engine technology named 'Ecoboost' in the upcoming Detroit Show next week. This is a 4 and 6 cylinder engines that feature turbocharging and direct injection technology (same as the VW TFSi/TSi). Proton is likely to get a strategic partner in three to five years' time, said second finance minister. NavStar Technologies' Voice Navigator is a GPS navigator with a speaker and buttons, but it has no screen. It accepts voice commands, the idea being to minimize the time you take your eyes off the road.You can give voice commands or plan a trip online for access in your car, but the video demo doesn't exactly make me want to rush out and buy one. And I have to wonder how well the voice commands work at 65 MPH. Driving is clearly a very visual experience, as is reading a map. One of the reasons GPS units work so well in cars is the combination of visual and auditory cues. Today news reported that many people interested about the new Proto n Saga . And some of them even walk into showroom, but unfortunately there is no show unit in there. Currently it still consider a soft launch only, the official launching will be held on next weeked at Dataran Merdeka by Prime Minister. But according to the report the new Proton Saga come in two spec; N-Line and M-Line which price at RM 31,500 and RM 39,500. Also it come with some basic safety equipment such as airbags.
