Back from the trip
2008-02-04 05:46:00 I arrived back sometime around 6PM. I was gone for a few days to Washington DC at Fort Myer specifically for the annual Tuba-Euhponium Conference. It was purely amazing. I heard so many terrific musicians. I still can’t get some of the sounds I heard out of my head. The highlight was definitely the Army Band “Pershing’s Own” performance on the last day. Perfection. Also, on a lighter note. One of the performers amped up his Tuba and started playing a really loud solo that sounded like a rock song. Few seconds into it and all of a sudden an old lady jets out of her seat and out of the auditorium with her hands covering her ears. Fun. Many other great stories as well… Superbowl was kind of boring. I didn’t care for either team and I started watching around halftime. Tom Petty? No thanks. Giants? Patriots? No thanks. 2008-01-30 13:10:00 As a college student I suppose I will have to endure writing many papers but what is the purpose of them? I can write sufficiently. To learn the subject better? NO. I find myself hating the subject by halfway through the paper. I think it’s time we stop this stupid rigamarole of papers and essays and really educate. Anyways, back to the paper.
