South Carolina Collegiate Honor band
2008-01-24 13:57:00 Apparently, I was nominated/invited to participate in the collegiate honor band thing. It’s basically a select group of college students who excel in music and are invited to come play together for the weekend. However, I’m very ill prepared because I didn’t know about it until recently and I’ve been super busy to practice. But hopefully I won’t be completely embarrassed. 2008-01-23 20:22:00 I went to a Barack Obama rally this morning. It was completely exhilarating. The line was long and it was very cold but absolutely worth it. He spoke for an hour on issues and just fired up the crowd. It’s so perfect that a candidate like him is running when I will be voting in my first election. Sweet. NFL Conference Championships
2008-01-18 22:11:00 Unless there’s an upset I don’t think these playoffs will amount to anything. The Patriots will simply walk into the history books. For some reason a lot of people like the idea of them going 19-0. People that are not even fans of the Patriots. This puzzles me. Their only response is that they want to see a team do it. So what? It’s not going to change anything. Then again I guess I am really stretching logic if I am looking for reason among football fans. As far as what I think goes… a Giants/Chargers super bowl will make the season for me. Simply because then the people that are supposed to go to the Super Bowl didn’t. I hate the Packers because I’m a Vikings fan. I hate the Patriots because they are good and not the Vikings at the same time. Which doesn’t work for me… More About: Championships , Conference , Champ

2008-01-18 04:39:00 Today’s word of the day is definitely “snow”. The word appeared on pretty much every twitter message, IM away message, and facebook status. Most importantly it appeared outside on the ground which meant classes were delayed today and since I have early morning classes I didn’t have any! So usually I would sit around and do nothing but I did get a lot done. I cleaned up and did some homework. I worked on some music. After all that I rewatched “Lawrence of Arabia.” Lawrence of Arabia might be the greatest movie ever made. It’s brilliant in every aspect. Well, I’m watching Leno for now and hopefully falling asleep soon… More About: Word , Word of the Day
