Ride for Recovery

Duane Chapman, will be attending this year’s Ride for Recovery .  The motorcycle ride will donate all proceeds to Peer I and The Haven, which are two of the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center’s drug treatment programs. Over at the Charlotte Conservative News we’ve got some info about the following: U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Littleton) criticized Attorney General Alberto Gonzales in a letter to the Justice Department in the wake of media reports yesterday that the U.S. Marshals raided the Hawaii home of Duane “Dog” Chapman at the direction of the Mexican government. Dog the Bounty Hunter DVD

In just 6 days you can get your hands on Dog the Bounty Hunt er DVD series - 1, 2, and 3!!! I can’t wait for it to go live and I can see if I can pick up a copy.   EXCITING!  I love Dog, Beth and the whole crew and my hubby just doesn’t see why I’m so in love with the show. I have tried to explain that I love the adrenaline, the dedication they have to catch the fugatives, and be all hard core on their butts.  But after their arrest the fugatives (for the most part) get to see Duane Dog Chapman’s soft side.  He wants to see the fugative turn their lives around - and that to me makes it so worth watching the show - I get to see a group of people - Duane, Beth, Tim, Leland, Duane Lee and Lyssa - look at these people and want more for them - more out of their lives rather than being addicted to their drugs, doing illegal things - for they’ve all had a rough time in their lives and Dog and his crew have managed to turn it around - so why can’t the...

Leland Chapman is burning up the poll here at ObsessedwithDog.com and Leland has a pretty big following online… and off - but we’ll focus on the online love that seems to be spreading like wildfire for Leland Chapman. Over at YouTube, I found this video of Leland… to the music of Monica: Angel of Mine. Wow. I was looking for some episode clips, and I found this. So I just had to share with everyone out there who loves Leland Chapman, as much as I do Yup, Leland is one hell of a hot man. Over at Famous Faces in Random Places, we’ve got a great photo of Dog and Beth Chapman loving the baseball game and looking like they’re having a lot of fun, in Houston! I’m assuming they’re in Houston to cheer on and support Duane’s nephew Danny Lehmann. This is one thing that I really love about Dog and Beth, they’re never really out of character. They are, who they are - wherever they may be. I think Beth is looking great and happy! Danny Lehmann Drafted by Twins

Danny Lehmann is Dog the Bounty Hunter’s nephew and if you’re curious how things are going for Dog’s family, Danny has been drafted by the Minnisota Twin s .  Danny Lehmann is the 272 draft pick and he’ll be playing in the major leagues. Lehmann, a 2-time All-Silver Glove winner, is widely regarded as one of the best defensive catchers in college baseball. As a junior and 3-year starter at Rice University, Lehmann was selected to the 2007 C-USA Conference Tournament All-Tournament Team. He also excelled in the classroom, being selected to the 2007 C-USA All-Academic Team. Dog the Bounty Hunter was in Houston this week to cheer on his nephew from the stands.  I think this is pretty darn cool that Dog is so damn support of his family.  Rock on Dog! Dog and Beth… and Paris Hilton?

Ok, I’m SO NOT A FAN OF PARIS HILTON.  Honestly I think she should do the time the judge set out for her - she’s been in trouble with the law over and over and finally she got nailed for it (and not in the way she usually likes it).  Ouch… I’m catty today! Duane and Beth both think that Paris has done enough time.  According to TMZ, Dog and Beth have both been in prison, they deal with criminals daily, they know what it’s like.   Dog even thought about offering that he go to jail for Paris Hilton and he hates jail.  But in that statement he’s saying that jail is hard - even spending an hour in there can be hellish, never mind solitary confinement. Dog told the reporters that they should put Paris under “Dog Arrest” and have Beth Chapman give here a stern warning/talk about drinking and driving and being a doofus. Christopher Chapman slams his Dad

Now take this with a bag of salt (not just a pinch) - according to the National Enquirer (…um… hello?!) Christopher Chapman is telling the world about how his father Duane “Dog” Chapman is a drug addict. I was totally shocked by the accusations that were flying at Janet Charlton’s Hollywood site where she broke this story (via the Enquirer) about the story that Christopher was saying that his dad Duane Chapman was a “crack smoking tyrant”.  That he was violent with his wife Beth and the kids and that he’s prejudice against blacks and gays. Christopher says: He says “It turns my stomach to see him lecture people on not using drugs when he’s the biggest drug user I ever saw. When he woke up after a crack binge he’d get violent with Beth and me and the other kids. I’m not sure how serious the Vancouver Forum is on Dog the Bounty Hunter and the crew is, but I thought I’d pass it along for your info - that there is this forum out there that is talking about Dog the Bounty Hunter and the family. Some comments are pretty decent… and some there aren’t very good at all. It’s a big mix… and might be of interest… or not. Dog the Bounty Hunter on DVD

I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on the Dog the Bounty Hunt er DVD series. I think it would be interesting to see what they’ve got - if it follows closely to the series or if they’ve got some added features. At our online Dog the Bounty Hunter shop I can get the best of Seasons One, Two and Three of the Dog the Bounty Hunter DVD series. I figure getting the box set would be more cost effective? The release date of the 3 series in one is June 26th! I can’t wait to get my hands on the Dog the Bounty Hunter DVD series. Have any of you bought the series from A&E or online? What did you think? Did they have the full season’s worth of shows or any added features to the Dog the Bounty Hunter DVD set? I’m totally looking forward to being able to buy the full set (so far) of Dog the Bounty Hunter and then I can watch it whenever I want and rewind to watch Leland… or Dog… or Tim… or…. see … I’...

Princess over at MySpace has a thing or two to share about what she sees as injustice against Duane, Tim and Leland Chapman.  She doesn’t think they deserve the extradition to Mexico.  I think there are many who think the same way as she does.  No one wants to see them go - but do they need to face justice in Mexico… even though they put a rapist behind bars? Shows kicking serious butt on A&E

I got a lot of information about the great shows that are on A&E - Dog the Bounty Hunter is right up there bringing in the viewers.  The big pull this season was Gene Simmons Family Jewels which was renewed for a third season. A&E has some pretty awesome shows and I’m just getting into watching the Sopranos and reruns of Miami CSI.  I’ve got to say that A&E is one of my favourite channels right now and I think between them and TLC - with Miami Ink - which is awesome also - it’s all good. I’m glad to see Dog the Bounty Hunter kicking serious butt in the ratings - it means that they’ll be back if they want to be (I sure hope so!) and other shows I love to watch - including Gene Simmons Family Jewels will be there in the fall for a new season. Criss Angel Debut

On the season debut of Cris s Angel on A&E, we will get an opportunity to see Dog the Bounty Hunter bring Criss down with a Samoan knot. Criss was doing a trick at the Luxor in Las Vegas and Dog and his family/crew/network were there and Dog employed the samoan knot to try to foil Criss and his magic trick of being submerged in water. The knot held and this is the first foiled magic trick for Criss in 15 years! Currently the score is 1 for the Hawaiian bounty hunter and 0 for the magic guy. … Dog and Criss have agreed to a rematch. This sounds like it’s going to be fun!

I’m not really sure how much of an impact this online petition is to stop the extradition of Duane, Tim and Leland, but it might be worth a shot to just sign your name if you don’t want to see them go to Mexico in the case of illegal bounty hunting in Mexico.
