Yesterday, I went with my husband to his work, because I had two appointments in Clovis and we only have one car. I woke up at seven, which is about two and a half hours earlier than usual for me. I went to my first appointment for my retainer, and then I went to take a nap on the couch in the sanctuary in our church. Mel Gibson was drunk. Really drunk. He had an open bottle of tequila in his car as he sped erratically down the highway. When he was pulled over by police, he was out of control, going off on a drunken tirade about the Jews and how they?ve started every war in the world. He claimed to own Malibu and that the officers would be sorry for doing this to him. He was a man possessed and America sees him now as less of a man. The liberal side of people are excited, because they haven?t liked Mel since he made that Jesus movie that was so popular. Senate Democrats want the little guy to think that they care. ?Look at all the suffering little people! Please give them more money, Mr. President! They?re dying out there!? They continually push for raising the minimum wage, as if that is going to solve everyone?s problem. Now, before I got in to politics, I made minimum wage and if I heard of a push by the Democrats to raise it, I would be cheering in the streets! But once I decided to examine the ramifications, it?s obvious that it is a bad idea. What happens when the minimum raise is raised? Companies have to raise the cost of their products, because the only way to afford a raise increase for current employees is to pass the cost along to the consumer. In effect, the cost of living raises at the same rate, meaning percentage wise, you won?t be anymore well off. And, since the minimum wage employees get a raise, everyone who earned their way up past minimum has to get an equal percentage wage too, or there will be riots in t...

Since no ship has found Darth Coker or Captain Vassar, we can only assume that neither of them was wearing their Comm Badges. There is a silent but growing movement in America called Top Free dom . What is Top Freedom? The movement of women who want to be able to go topless in public without being arrested or persecuted. Their logic? Men get to walk around with their shirts off and it?s acceptable, why can?t women do it too? The fact is they want their equal rights to walk around bare-chested and carefree. Why is it acceptable for a man with breasts to take his shirt off and not for a woman with them? There is even an organization behind this called TERA, or Topfree Equal Rights Association.
