Facebook files for 5 Billion Dollor IPO

  And now we see why Facebook has been going through all these changes in the last years. This is what they have been preparing for.   To start the process of going public, Facebook filed papers to raise 5 Billion dollars for their initial public offering.  In 2011, Facebook earned $1 billion on sales of $3.7 billion. As of December 31, Facebook had 845 million daily active users. The share price and how many shares will be sold will come out in later filings closer to when the stock will trade.

We spoke with a rep for BET who wouldn't specify exactly why the network has banned the video -- simply saying BET will not be broadcasting it.But sources at the company tell us, the ban was put in place because the video's just too explicit for TV. source

Per Los Angeles Times, "Soul Train" creator Don Cornelius was found dead at his Sherman Oaks on home Wednesday morning. Law enforcement sources said police arrived at Cornelius' home around 4 a.m. He apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the case was ongoing. The sources said there was no sign of foul play, but the Los Angeles Police Department was investigating. source

Terrance Howard hit with restraining order

Actor Terrance Howard has been slapped with a restraining order from his soon to be ex wife Michelle Howard. Michelle claims that Terrance Howard was abusive during their short marriage and even threatening to kill her.  Howard must stay 100 yards away from his estranged wife or go to jail.  The restraining order will be in effect until Jan 17th court hearing. Terrance Howard has fired back in the below statement: "I live in constant fear of Michelle's endeavors to ruin my reputation; even providing this declaration may well lead to my being subjected to a paparazzi blitz which would not be good for my career." source
