Rihanna was spotted in NYC wearing a fierce short grey dress with some killer over the thigh boots. I'm not really feeling the color lipstick but I did the highlights. She is in NYC recording her much anticipated album. Rihanna has recruited Justin Timberlake and Chase & Status to work on the project. It is rumored Rihanna is looking at a November 23, 2009 release for her album.Also, I heard today on106 & Park that Rihanna just finalized the purchase of a house in Los Angeles and she is right down the street from Jennifer Aniston. Well there was another funny moment last night. While Jay-Z and Alicia Keys was singing "Empire State of Mind" , all of a sudden you see Lil Mama on the stage reppin for her city. Jay-Z gestured her to move back and calm down. Even joked and said she was "T-Painning" LMAO!!!!! She sent out a statement via her manager:"I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys," the statementreads. "I admire them and look up to them as role models. Janet Jackson busted through when it was time to sing her part for the acclaimed duet with her brother Michael Jackson on the single "SCREAM". She even pulled some of her old choreographers together. I saw Laurie Ann Gibson, Chris Judd (J-lo's ex hubby), and Tina Landon. Check out these pics. This was by far the best performance of the night. But it was overshadowed by Kanye's stupid butt.
