Lily Allen punched a paparazzo. She was arrested in London Thursday on charges of punching photographer Kevin Rush. The incident allegedly happened back in March as Allen left the Wardour Club in London's West End with her boyfriend of nearly three years, DJ Seb Chew. On Thursday, Allen went to a London police station, where she was photographed and had her fingerprints and a DNA sample taken. A Metropolitan Police spokesman told PEOPLE: "At approximately 1:30 a.m. on the 13th March a woman allegedly punched at a male photographer in his 40s, near the Wardour Club, W1. He suffered a cut to the nose, but didn't require any hospital treatment. Officers attended but the woman had left. "At approximately 9:30 a.m. on the 28th June, a 21-year-old woman attended at London police station by appointment and was arrested in connection with the allegation of assault. She has been bailed to return in late July." source

Jamie Fawcett, 41, was charged in January 2005 with possessing and using a listening device after he allegedly was spotted planting the bug near a sidewalk outside Kidman's Sydney home.The New South Wales state Department of Public Prosecutions withdrew all charges against Fawcett in Sydney's Local Court on Thursday. The reasons for the decision were not immediately clear. "It was a very narrow investigation that once again targeted the photographers at a scene and I felt that was perhaps unfair," Fawcett told reporters outside the court.Source

Lets just say Britney's mom wasn't to happy!Britney gave the 'note' this afternoon on a film set where Britney's younger sister Jamie Lynn is working. There are reports circulating that the papers are a restraining order, but TMZ has confirmed that is NOT the case. It is a letter from an out-of-state lawyer. By the way, Britney could not legally serve her mom with a restraining order if she was the one seeking it.Sources say Britney feels that her mom turned on her in the days before she entered Promises rehab. She also feels Lynne Spears is not stable enough to be around Brit's kids because she may have her own "issues." We're told the letter bluntly asks Lynne to stay away from the children if she is taking any medications that would impair her ability to be around them.source
