Lord Genocyde's Deep Thought of The Day
2008-07-08 12:25:00 I was going through some old Ghost Rider comics over the weekend. I'd somehow stretched the shit out of my left trapezius and it was in agony. Not much else to do and then I realize how much of a blessing it actually was. I didn't have to get up off of my ass to do much and I learned some really fascinating things about motorcycles.First, a tricked-out stuntbike goes pretty fast when the rider's skull is on fire and he's out to catch minions of Satan.Second, a chopper or crotch rocket with wheels of fire have only two speeds; Instant Cure For Constipation and Fucking Stop. Episode 101: Perhaps I Was A Bit Too Prejudgmental...
2008-06-26 21:53:00 I feel I was wrong and I feel that I have to say so. Sometime ago I posted my doubts about the new Rambo and Indiana Jones movies. It seems that George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and ol' Sly have given me a huge shitburger to eat. The good thing about eating a massive pile of failure in judgment is that it's only the first couple bites that are the worst. The new movie out in theaters Indiana Jones And The Kingdom of The Crystal Skulls was especially impressive but with one huge mistake. While I haven't studied up on The Crystal Skulls beyond the fact that there's one that sits in The British Museum and The Mitchell-Hedges Skull is travelling the world with the supposed discoverer's daughter (believe me when I say this...the story of The Mitchell-Hedges skull is convoluted to say the least), I have studied up on the mysterious lost city allegedly located in Brazil and it's not called Akator, as erroneously stated in the movie. It's called Akakor. This city has not been complete... More About: Episode
Episode 100: It's All In The Posting...
2008-06-07 23:33:00 At first, I was going to post about all the past stuff. I was going to blow out some type of musing that read like some year-end review. After many attempts, I've decided not to do so.We've finally done it. Episode 100 is here. What's happened since The Misadventure In Shreveport? Not much to tell, really. Work has been the usual bunch of stuff going on. Same old, same old, and nothing really changing but the date.I do, however, bring news. A friend of mine for 10 years, David Seitz, passed away, finally giving up his battle with cystic fibrosis. The news was particularly devastating to me and to his wife who informed me. He and I had been working on a music project. We were collectively known as Vile Illusion. His end was the music, my end was vocals and lyrics. The saddening thing was that he had wanted to complete some songs and get these songs on a CD before he died. Sadly, it was a dream he never realized. It hit me hard on that one. Two years ago, he and I had started to rea...
Episode 99: The Death-Proof Lord Genocyde
2008-05-16 01:41:00 Author's Note: This is the story of one wild night in Shreveport. I ended up cutting parts of it out because the entire post took over ten pages in Microsoft Word in 14-point type. Rather prolific, I'd say. Still, after cutting it down to the highlights it still ended up being rather prolific. Read this thing only when you have the time or print it up and take it with you. It probably wasn?t the most brilliant thing that I?ve ever done. Then again, when is it ever? I?d had this trip planned for two weeks and I really looked forward to it. The thing that I?d wanted to do was get the hell away from my hometown for a bit. After getting the truck, I figured that I deserved that much, if nothing else. The trip itself was brilliant. In fact, at the time of this writing, I?m still on it. Greetings from Shreveport, Louisiana. You want bikers? They?ve got ?em. You looking for bars, taverns, pubs? Yep, they?re here too. It?s not a bad place to wind up if you?re the typ... More About: Episode , Death , Proof , Lord , Death Proof
Episode 98: The Great Crunch Conundrum
2008-04-26 02:03:00 May 31, 1997:Graduation night. Jamie, James, my girlfriend and I were flying through town in my dad's Ford F-150. We had two ice chests chock full of a multi-colored assortment of sodas and ice and the back was loaded with cartons of smokes that they'd no doubt leave me to be the sole proprietor of in the morning after. Not that we really needed all that for the trip but with all the parties we'd crash, we'd work up strong appetites for junk food and drinks with strong caffeine content. We'd raided many of these parties already and had made out with much in the way of loot. We were living as teenage pirates and here we were, on a deserted highway, simply cruising. We were loaded full, completely twisted on caffeinated beverages and heads full of metal...good people. Good times. There it was. I'll never forget it to this day. Try as I may, it is an incident that will forever live in infamy in my life. Knowing then what I know now, I'd have made a U-turn and hauled ass the other... More About: Episode , Great , Crunch
Episode 97: Between Alpha And Omega
2008-04-18 09:22:00 There are times when I truly question things. There are times when I truly question my own judgment. Take message boards for example. These things can be a shitload of fun. Then again, they can be a real pain in the damn ass too. More often than not, the latter has proven true.Granted, I'm not one to complain about putting in some effort for some type of recognition. I'm all for letting a self-evident end result just do that for me. If I can look at something with the knowledge that I helped build it, I don't need anyone else to tell me jack shit. I don't need anyone else to tell me how great something looks. I'm fucking looking at it and it looks pretty awesome from here.At first, I just didn't want to deal with WM3.org's board but now, I don't want to deal with ANY damn board associated with that case. They're like hurricanes, in my opinion. They start out kind of exciting and they end in complete disaster. Let me let you, my dear readers in on a little bit of advice. If ... The Finish-The-Quote Challenge (Blogger Exclusive)
2008-04-12 10:35:00 Who posted this first? Tammi. It took me a little while to decide on what I would use in a response. I still haven't decided but here goes nothing...I dream...of really horrible things. Long story.I cannot stand...Fake and apathetic people who honestly think that I'm going to stop doing what I do because they can't do what they want to do based on their social status. I work, I pay my bills and if I don't owe you money, I'm not your kid or I'm not fucking you then I don't owe you an explanation. End of Story.I stopped...giving a crap what others thought of me. Hate me all you want if that's what you like but take it elsewhere. If you accept me for who I am then that's cool. I'd rather have a few true friends than many false onesI wish...larger groups of people would quit taking shit. There are people out there fucking you around in just about every aspect of your life both financially and socially. Know why they're doing it? Because they can. Know why they can? Because yo... Episode 96: Proper MOTORvation
2008-04-09 10:44:00 You know, in hindsight, that old tired damn addage of having a set of wheels as a social status is true. When you have wheels, you've got lots of friends. That same group of friends, for some reason, they see you with wheels and it's an instant ticket to going anywhere they want to go. It's especially that way if they know that you're all about some road trips too. That group of friends will not only propose a road trip and make you feel practically awesome about taking them on it but they'll praise you, citing that it was your idea. Not only that, but they'll thank you for inviting them along. The bad part is, most of them have their own rides but don't want to take them for one reason or another.I have to say this, the minute your ride breaks down, they're suddenly nowhere to be found and you're left with such a lack of options that it's hideously pathetic. That whole car-shopping thing made me think long and hard about that. That's part of what took me so long to get on... More About: Episode
Episode 95: The Great Car-Shopping Debacle
2008-04-04 15:05:00 My feet beat the streets on a regular basis. I?ve been walking since my first car. I love to drive but when things are in walking distance, even across town, why bother? Better to take the mountain bike and burn off some calories or even walk, doing the same and enjoy podcasts of Coast To Coast AM or my music that?s been loaded onto my iPod. Why drive, burn more gas and sit there through traffic when my state of motion without a vehicle is almost always perpetual?Still, being completely without a vehicle is possibly the most undesirable state that can be imagined. During extreme weather that can be the norm here in Louisiana. Rain, thunderstorms, humidity, cold, heat...none of these are worth the effort it takes to run to the store for a pack of batteries. Not only that but while catching a ride to work while without a car by mechanical failure or by absentia, it still leaves me at the mercy of relying on someone else or having to take the grueling bike ride through merciless wind d... Episode 94: Everything In Doing Time
2008-04-03 14:54:00 You know, when I actually made my approach and offered a few responses to the atheists on YouTube, I honestly expected some backlash. Most of the atheists I?ve ever met were decent people, without a nasty bone in their body even in the face of people of any religion who were at their most venomous. Very rarely have I ever met someone of the atheist persuasion who decided that becoming hateful during a debate or even a discussion would aid in any progress. Given, my own perception of atheists was that many of them backed science and the scientific method. During my limited time on this planet and within this temporal existence, I?ve had the pleasure of actually becoming familiar with the methods of a true scientist. If something can be proven after full review of facts, then it is scientifically established as fact. If something can not be proven after a full review of facts then the question that begs itself is can it be disproven? If it cannot, the scientist will, of course cl... More About: Episode , Time

A Preview of Coming Attractions...
2008-03-31 12:16:00 There will be more episodes of The Lord Genocyde Show coming up after the second Weekend in April. Second Weekend in April marks the second time in several years that I'm off during The Louisiana Railroad Days Festival. This is a small carnival with all kinda "family" entertainment and, afterwards, the "fairground" usually looks pretty trampled. We're going to have to do this during the day since my camera doesn't operate well in low light (anyone have a recommendation for a better digital video camera?) and mostly what we'll be doing is walking around and taking a closer look at the security there. As close as we can get anyway. As far as subjects to cover for The Lord Genocyde Show, I'm kind of at a loss as to what to talk about. Sometimes I have a ton of shit on my mind just waiting to come out but, with the Lockdown episode indefinitely shelved for now, I'm sort of stumped so I am now taking submissions and suggestions. Hell, even a Lord Genocyde Fan Q&A Might be a goo... More About: Attractions , Preview
Episode 93: The Toolbox Debacle
2008-03-17 14:50:00 Ok, if it's one thing that I fucking despise, it's when people want to use my shit but not put it back where they friggin' found it. I have absolutely no problem with people wanting to use anything in my home. Hell, I encourage it but the only thing I ask is that it be put back in it's place. Recently, I acquired three roomies and, while I love the hell out of these three, Phoenix has one minor flaw...it just so happens to be the flaw that happens time and time again. Now I told you that to tell you this. About two months or so ago, I finally broke down and built a toolbox for the house and some hobby projects. The way I had it figured, constantly calling the landlord to send someone over, causing me to stay up late was more of a pain in the ass than just fixing it myself. All I really lacked were the tools. So, I stood there in a place called Nichols which is a local micro version of Wal-Mart with the exception of the prices. The bad part about the prices is they get you ... More About: Episode , Toolbox

2008-03-16 07:14:00 Friday, March 14, 2008...I've been waiting for this day. Two of my roomies and I had just finished up our grocery shopping at WalMart. Now, it was merely steps away from the GameStop to pick up my copy of God of War: Chains of Olympus and not even that red-headed nerd with that fruity little ponytail was gonna stop me.Decked out in black swat team style boots, my camo pants, and TopSecretTraining.com t-shirt and my favorite pair of shades...I lit up and started bullcharging through WalMart's parking lot. Cars stopped short and honked as I traversed the lot.Fuck off, pal...today I'm not taking some nerd's bullshit and your car is nothing more than a pile of scrap Detroit steel and fiberglass if I stop for any reason. I had it on my mind. Persians would die in scores...or others would. Choice was theirs. I walked past rows smoking and looking around. I'd like to thank the people below for posting this and I'll gladly repost it now both here and to all my blogs. Episode 92: Lord Genocyde vs. The D.M.V.
2008-02-03 19:36:00 I've come to the conclusion that the State of Louisiana is like a rather large retarded child on the toilet with toilet paper in one hand but wiping it's ass with the other. Point is, somewhere, there's a synapse that is misfiring badly. The Problem is...it's the only one that bothers to fire at all.I've had blocks on my license for awhile now. It all started when I killed the insurance on my Camaro. The way I figured it, the thing was parked and it wasn't moving. I was aiming to sell it and paying insurance on it was me throwing money away on it. After careful review of the situation, I'd finally killed it. The problem was that I hadn't forked over the license plate to it. It would have helped if someone had simply told me that I had to do so. When I finally did, again, I wasn't told anything else. The next block came when I'd made a late payment on the insurance to another car I own. Again, no information given to me about it.Now, these were the only two of which I'd kno... More About: Episode , Lord
Fundamentalist Christians...Face The Music
2008-01-22 16:08:00 I know the title of this particular angry rant may frighten some people but understand that it is here I will list my qualifications to set minds at ease and then I will attack mercilessly, pre-emptively and without apology. I warn you now if your sensitive feelings can't handle the truth then just fuckin' blow me.First, I was raised for most of my life here in this small town nestled in the emo buckle of the bible belt.Second, I attended a Catholic church as a child, went through catechism and underwent confirmation.Third, during said catechism classes I was subjected to the most mindless mounds of bullshit crammed down my throat. (I just didn't realize it was bullshit until later...more on that coming up)Fourth, I later became a Baptist and had the same mounds of bullshit crammed down my throat only this time...it was a force-feeding.Fifth, I've been to an apostolic church (whether I wanted to go or not...the latter obviously being the case)Sixth, I've been on one helluva spi... The Lord Genocyde Show Episode 6 Casting Call
2008-01-21 08:39:00 Hi Everyone,Right now, I'm currently working on The Lord Genocyde Show Episode 6: The Panopticon Project. While I've already got some of the integral parts filmed, I still need individual responses and this past couple of weeks has proven beyond doubt to be the most frustrating. I haven't been able to find one single person who wants to appear even briefly in a short film in this small town. Frustrating as it is, these same people can be overheard swooning over the next huge media flops (Britney Spears...another fine Louisiana Product *note the overbearing sarcasm*) stating, "I wish I could make millions and be in movies." While it's true that no one's making millions from this project (hey, least of all me here) I still need some individual responses. So here's what I've come up with so far. Many of us have webcams and if you have one, you can record yourself. Once you record yourself you can send those files to me via YouSendIt.com. If you do submit videos, here's what will... More About: Call , Casting
Episode 91: Enter The Pit
2008-01-11 08:58:00 It's no secret that the last few days have been nearly completely shitty. We came back from the Immune System tour with our show schedule so badly ripped to shit that I'd given up on the thing. Honestly, how many times in two months do I need to remind someone of the schedule to which we had agreed? After everything, I was so frustrated, I ended up leaving Krush. Two weeks prior to that, I ended up backing away from the West Memphis Three support group after I found myself having to constantly justify my actions to some halfwitted moron that refused to understand but constatly questioned me or talked down to me like I was their kid. Now this. I'd made up my mind that if every weekend were going to turn out like this, I was just going to not even bother firing up the computer. It was becoming frustrating.Sunday I'd found myself in a pit. Despite a good workout, despite doing what needed to be done, I just felt like hell, mentally. I was exhausted, drained and just plain ridden hard... More About: Episode , Enter
iPods: Convenience or Trendy?
2008-01-03 17:56:00 Here's a post from a rant on DSBP's website. TommyT posted it at the end of Cable's rant on how the illegal downloading (black market style) is hurting the indie leagues in music. I have to say that, while I agreed wholeheartedly with Cable's post, TommyT's follow-up seems to need a little fine-tuning.This is why I haven't chosen to negate the article in it's entirety but simply respond to it because some really good points are made. Who knows, it might open some dialogue and make some progress and that's really all I'm after.Everything in Quotations and bold print will be from Tommy's statement."Subject: Napster and Itunes kill the music scene!!!! yes, they do...don't even try to say I'm wrong...cause I am not. Episode 90: An Advance To The Rear
2007-12-25 15:06:00 As many of you know, I've been of the opinion that Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jesse Misskelley Jr. (otherwise known as The West Memphis Three) are innocent of the horrible triple murder for which each was convicted.Until several years ago, I hadn't really found a way to find others and get involved and possibly find some way of helping out in getting the right people (namely judges, attorneys, etc.) to reopen this case and have another look at it. It's only within the past year or so that I've finally had the opportunity to work with some of the supporters who've been active in this case for so long. Naturally, not many in this particular town know about this case with the exception of a few of the people I work with. Even then, I've had to bear ad hominem attacks and attempted guilt trips (albeit unsuccessful) from those that disagree with me, each basing their disagreement on what they perceive to be limited research on my part.Online it's been much worse. Episode 89: On Hacking The Human Mind
2007-12-15 14:03:00 Even I'll be the first to admit that hacking human minds can often be a daunting task. It's actually harder than getting into any supercomputer in the world, no matter what level of skill you may have. I never intended to hack this particular mind. My intention was to simply state from where it was I was coming and perhaps, achieve a level of understanding that would allow us to agree to disagree on the subject. There are weird things in this world, my dear readers. These things are true because, we know, truth is far stranger than fiction. My co-worker, Biggie, and I were sitting around talking. I'd pretty much made up my mind never to discuss the subject of September 11th, 2001. The last time I did, he hammered me about a book I was reading. I had no idea how I was deserving of the rather venomous pseudo-attack that I'd gotten but trying to calmly explain my case was futile. Immune System Tour In Full Swing
2007-11-25 00:01:00 Immune System Tour In Full Swing Lord Genocyde wasn't joking on the YouTube release when he said the dates had been sold out prior to any major listing. In fact, dates on the tour had been completely sold out within the first 48 hours of posting the news to a few message boards."Fact is," Lord Genocyde tells Krush News, "people couldn't wait. It was like a madhouse with online ticket sales. It was a surprise because the first two CDs didn't exactly fly off the shelves but so many had heard it on terrestrial and internet radio. That was the shock to us, just how many had heard them. It's really making us hopeful that this one not only takes off but also helps the other two boost as well."CD sales of Weltanschuuang and Phallusuberalles weren't exactly nonexistant but they had been low. 2007-10-30 05:24:00 Author's Note: This is my angry rant about my shopping experience at a nearby Wal-Mart . In this post, you'll see my darker side come out. I will not apologize for you becoming frightened or if this seems disturbing...you have been warned. If some of the products I normally buy were available anywhere else, no matter the price, I'd gladly stop shopping at Wal-Mart . I got the bright friggin' idea to go to Wal-Mart Saturday rather than Friday. Why? There were groceries that needed restocking and I was all outta my damn Xenadrine. That was several months ago and not all of it was muscle. Not to mention, I was getting nowhere fast. I was killing myself running (sometimes up to 20 minutes at a time), dieting was getting me some results but it was slow as hell, even weights were doing nothing but packing on more pounds because muscle weighs more than the excess fat.I was sick of my lack of results.Having tried everything else, I decided to try 15 Minute Hell. After three days, I weigh in at 196.5 lbs. Not bad, considering I was doing nothing more than sitting on my lazy behind at this computer a lot if I wasn't watching movies.
