Nisha Kothari’s car knocked down a pregnant woman near Santacruz Airport in Mumbai at around 11:00 hours IST.The 26-year-old victim Heena Jamtani, who was hit by Nisha’s car when she was crossing a road, has been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. Jamtani suffered a fracture above her right ankle. Nevertheless, her child is safe and has not suffered any injuries.However, no case has been registered against Nisha as yet and it is also not clear as to who was behind the wheels when the accident took place. The family claims that it was not a case of hit-and-run as Nisha’s driver attended to the victim and took her to the hospital. The driver also left Nisha’s number with the hospital authorities.
