Review: THE HILLS “A Date With The Past” (S03E30)
2008-04-29 21:32:00 Not a very eventful episode of THE HILLS this week. The girls (LC, Lo, and Audrina) throw a house warming party and despite the fact that guests included Justin Bobby and Brody’s new girlfriend; the shin dig was surprisingly drama free. Steven, LC’s ex from high school (and Laguna Beach) also made an appearance and invited her to dinner the following night. Lauren admits to Lo that she never stopped having feelings for Steven. Comedy ensues when LC gets all dolled up expecting to rekindle with an old flame, and Steven shows up in jeans and a hoodie looking very much like he just wanted to catch up with an old friend. This is confirmed when over dinner he makes it clear that things between them are strictly “platonic”. Normally I wouldn’t find this so funny, but given the way LC has been treating everyone these days, I’m chalking this up to Karma. Read all our The Hills coverage here. 2008-04-29 16:53:00 Name: THE DOCTOR TV Show: Doctor Who which airs Fridays at 9pm on Sci-fi. Actor portraying him: David Tennant Why we like him: The Doctor is a superhero like no other. He can’t leap from tall buildings, stop bullets, or even run faster than a speeding train but Superman ain’t got nothing on him. The Doctor is imbued with the infinite ability to see good in the worst of people and to see evil in the minutia of life. His gift (or curse depending on how you look at it) is to see time like no one has or ever will. If I ever needed a superhero by my side, I would take him any day of the week. What other show we see him in: Obviously it would be great seeing the Doctor in Torchwood. Now that would be an interesting encounter. Read all our Doctor Who coverage here.
