2008-04-12 05:45:00 Hate to say it but we're all still awaiting Season 3 of Heroes . To pass the time, there's several movies out and coming up in which we can see our favorite cast members as they play different sorts of characters. Here's what our Heroes' stars are up to prior to Season 3 coming back to NBC.Everyone's favorite blonde electrocutioner, Elle (Kristen Bell) is currently starring in "Forgetting Sara Marshall", which is tagged as the "ultimate romantic disaster movie". Bell plays Sarah Marshall, the TV star who just broke the heart of her ex, who is ironically named Peter. Peter travels to an exotic resort to take his mind off her, but Sarah travels to the same resort with her new boyfriend. None of us could forget Elle, let alone the Peter from Heroes. There's been some on and off rumors that Bell would not return to be in Season 3 of Heroes, however she seemed to confirm on Entertainment Tonight that she has 5 episodes to film for Season 3. Heroes Season 3 Starts 9/15/08!
2008-04-08 22:16:00 Finally, a confirmed date has been given for Heroes Season 3. The third season of NBC Heroes will be called "Villains" and returns in about 5 months time, on September 15, 2008. It will start at 8pm with a show featuring clips (probably to refresh viewers' memories). A 2 hour premiere episode will follow at its regular 9PM EST time slot. Scifi.com had the following report:NBC's returning genre shows--Heroes, Chuck and Medium--will each air a full complement of original episodes next season, in contrast to this year's strike-truncated season, with Heroes and Chuck set to air without repeats through December.The announcements came at the network's presentation to advertisers in New York on April 2."We not only have the biggest star of TV, we have movie stars on NBC," Ben Silverman, co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios, said during the presentation. SAG to Kill Heroes?
2008-04-03 06:29:00 Heroes fans were cut short this past second season of the hit show, when the series ended early, thanks to a writer's strike. Now there's been rumors hinting at a possible Screen Actors Guild (SAG) strike which could once again kill the show. According to a Syfyportal.com article, Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder Suresh) said the possibility is there, but he's hopeful the show will go on.From Syfyportal.com: "Hopefully producers and SAG will get together and sort something out," he told fans at the event. "My last scene [on 'Heroes'] was filmed on Oct. 23 so I'm hoping we'll get something together cause I'd really like to get back to work."During the strike, projects were few and far between for Ramamurthy, but he was able to pass the time through sports."My tennis game got really good. A Seattle Times recent commentary piece discusses the many ways to watch TV these days. Is Bell Gone from Heroes?
2008-03-04 21:38:00 According to the TV Squad, NBC's Heroes will begin filming again this coming June, possibly even May. However, TV Guide's Michael Ausiello is reporting that Kristen Bell isn't signed for the new season yet.A TV Squad author discusses Bell's character's importance:I see her either coming over to the side of the good guys (if she signs a long-term contract) or completely going crazy because of the way her father has been treating her and trying to destroy everyone and eventually dying in a really dramatic way.Bell turned down the role of Charlotte on Lost to take the Heroes gig.I would be surprised if Bell doesn't return because she was shown in an early preview for Season 3 Villains, and it appeared she was caught by Sylar. Heroes Season 3: Dark or Bright Spot?
2008-02-26 19:14:00 All that's really been revealed to us about NBC Heroes Season 3 are speculations, rumors, a glimpse at some camcorder previews from a film festival and the NBC site's online content. Fans can easily put all these pieces together and see that a season called "Villains" might offer us a really dark, gloomy verison of our favorite show.The brightest spot for Season 3, is the return of the darkest character, Sylar. He regained his powers in our preview of Season 3, which was at the end of Season 2. This means Sylar will be on one hell of a spree. Don't forget he now will have the abilities of Candice, who once told Micah if he ran she would make him see things that he'd never recover from. With Sylar having that sort of power, you'd have to feel bad for the "good guys".So now we will have Sylar able to turn himself into just about anyone. Heroes Season 3, Coming in Fall 08'
2008-02-14 19:39:00 Rejoice Heroes fans, the writers strike is finally over as of a few days ago! However, Heroes will not be returning for several more months. According to Movieweb.com:Fans of Heroes have hoped that, with the WGA strike coming to an end, that we might see more of NBC's hit series on television this year. Unfortunately, Ain't It Cool News spoke to Hayden Panettiere, who plays the cheerleader Claire Bennett on the show, and she says that it won't be happening.According to Panettiere, even though the strike is finished, Heroes is done for this season, with new shooting beginning in April. New Hero at Superbowl 42?

The second quarter of today's Superbowl 42 game will feature a preview of the new Superhero movie, Ironman. The movie is set to star Robert Downey Jr as the Marvel character. MTV.com has a sneak peek screen shot and article here.The movie according to IMDB will hit theaters in May 2008 and also stars Terrance Howard and Gwyneth Paltrow. Downey plays Tony Stark whose secret superhero identity is Iron Man. Based on the popular comic book, Stark creates a life support suit to keep him alive following a bad accident, then becomes a serious crime fighter. Heroes TV to meet Heroes Online

Tolerico who is project manager for the Evolutions portion of the NBC Heroes website offers the following about the online Heroes content:Masi Oka writes and creates all of the Hiro blog entries himself. I put together the Drucker postcard code and our lead designer (Markus Hagen) created the artwork and flash file. Heroes Evolutions - Online

One aspect of this involves the "Heroes Evolutions" section of the NBC Heroes site. Evolution was originally called Heroes360, but it was decided during a team meeting that 360 was a thing of the year 2006.The aim of Heroes Evolutions is to create new story content online. It is a digital extension of the show which looks at the Heroes characters and the evolving Heroes universe. The project manager is Joe Tolerico, also an NBC senior producer. As of right now, their site is advertising a Coming Soon as far as pictures and info goes for the product.The magazine cover shown above is Toyfare Magazine Issue 127 which offers a preview of the figures. Claire definitely looks aged on her doll and Sylar almost seems to resemble Lou Ferrigno, the famous "Incredible Hulk" of yesteryear (1977).It was rumored earlier last year that McFarlane Toys was in talks with NBC about doing these action figures. The Mysterious Richard Drucker

Some tell new side tales away from the show as well. One in particular involves a mysterious man named Richard Drucker, who is a long-lost relative of Hana Gitleman. You may have remembered Hana from just a few episodes of Heroes in Season 1. She was the character Wireless, capable of intercepting and sending communication via phone, computer, etc. She met up with Ted Sprague and Matt Parkman to tell them about the Company and it's method of tagging, tracking and taking out Heroes.Richard Drucker is believed to be the uncle of Hana aka Wireless. Heroes Must See Surveillance?!
2008-01-09 05:21:00 While checking out the official Heroes website the other day, I noticed a teaser for "Primatech's Security feeds". The link takes you straight to the Primatech site, where they now have mock security video feeds on display. They doesn't seem to hold any groundbreaking info or secrets from what I've seen so far, but you never know what clues might be hidden there.Currently the Video Surveillance Manager for the site allows you to click on the various cameras and dates for surveillance feeds. There's zoom and other controls as well. One still frame shows Sylar in the lab with Suresh, from when they were preparing Sylar's cure. This was of course the same feed that Elle noticed while she was on duty at the Company. Another feed shows the plain hallways of Primatech. Clicking on a still frame will show a streaming video feed. Nothing too exciting, and no sound involved, but still worth seeing. We all want a fresh start, a more badass Sylar, even more villains with powers and a Peter who is using his powers the way he should. The bad news: Season 3 won't be starting for a good while, until they've ended that nasty writers' strike and filmed about 10 episodes! Questions for Heroes Season 3
2008-01-04 21:31:00 Season 3, "Villains" will be a much anticipated next season for the Heroes franchise. Many feel that this past season was a let down, and the writers' strike certainly didn't help as it ended the show earlier than expected. That leaves promise and hope for the upcoming season. The last image we were left with was Sylar regaining his powers by using telekinesis to retrieve a metal can from a cross an alleyway. Here's some questions we'll be looking to answer in Season 3.- Are Niki Sanders and Nathan Petrelli dead? Can they be cured via Claire's blood as Maya and HRG were?- Who was the person who shot Nathan? He's been in shows such as Law & Order: SVU, Boston Public, CSI, Gilmore Girls and in the recent Rocky Balboa film. With his down time from Heroes thanks to the recent writers strike, Milo will be working on roles in several upcoming movies. Pathology is a medical thriller which also stars Michael Weston, Lauren Lee Smith and Alyssa Milano (Charmed). It has the tagline of "No body is safe". The story involves a group of med students as part of an interesting game; to see who can devise the perfect murder. Milo has the lead role in the film as Ted Gray, one of the students. 2007-12-20 02:34:00 With Heroes Season 2 finale, we saw 2 of the Heroes supposedly "bite the bullet". Nathan was the more literal death as he was shot twice by an unknown assailant from the back of a press conference crowd. This came right before Nathan was going to shock the world, and expose the fact he couldd fly and that there were many other people with powers like him living amongst the population.Niki/Jessica was the other presumed death. She was rescuing Monica Dawson from a burning building, held up a fallen wood post so Monica could escape, and presumably Niki didn't escape. The building blew up and young Micah, the son of Niki was left devastated. A true death or just a suspenseful cliff hanger for Season 3? They didn't show her escape, which is often the greatest trick in comic books and even soap operas.In comic books, these things happen every other issue. Ali Larter Gets Engaged

Hayes MacArthur is the lucky guy, a comedian and actor who's been featured in the movie "The Game Plan" and on TV shows such as MAD TV and Medium. A Journey Ends & Charlie's Tale Told
2007-12-16 10:29:00 As you can imagine Heroes news is slow now that the show is done with Season 2. The reviews of the finale were less than stellar, but things still look promising for Season 3. Unfortunately there was bad news for another new show.NBC has pulled the plug on another sci-fi hero type show, "Journey man". The show was a modern day "Quantum Leap" which had the slot right after "Heroes" on Monday nights. Despite the 10 PM time slot, it was unable to pull in a decent audience to sustain itself. It seemed as if NBC was really trying to capitalize on the whole superhero style of show, with Bionic Woman as well. The Create Your Hero Campaign!
2007-12-08 23:57:00 Season 2 may be over, but the Hero es series lives on. You may have seen the recent advertisements on TV for the "Create Your Hero" campaign. The ongoing promotion presented by Sprint is a chance for fans to help develop a new Heroes character who will be part of live action webisodes next year. The character may also be worked into the NBC TV series at some point as well. Users can vote each week through December 17th, either online or via text exclusive on Sprint phones (HEROES text 6789), to choose all the characteristics of this new hero.The promotion is now in week 4 of voting, with two weeks of new attributes remaining.
