As the release date of 'athidi' coming closure,lot of noise is making rounds on story lines of Athidi.Some are expecting that As the name implies,Mahesh babu will definitely play a 'Guest'(athidi) Role.But for whom he is guest is unknown as of now. Some are comparing with the 'Simhadri' movie, as NTR also played the same guest role in Kerala.Who can dare to direct a hero like Prince Mahesh by copying story/scripts? Gossips and rumors are part of the industry,Let them prevail till the movie release.'Athidi' itself can only answer all this noise.

Grapevine is that Surender reddy,earlier directed atanokkade movie when approached mahesh with his story,Mahesh has been much impressed with the story and agreed to act under his direction. Some critics say that, as Surender reddy's 'Ashok' didn't perform well,how can Mahesh accepted the movie with surender with out second thought.Lot of curiosity is gaining stem on Athidi,lets wait and see how the movie will perform at box-office!

Mahesh babu's forth coming movie 'Athidhi' will be released on October 3rd as per the present plan.Earlier release date was decided as October 10th, but as the shooting has almost completed and unit is capable of complete post production work in less time and the movie rights have already been sold to UTV.Might be considering all these factors,'Athidi' movie release has been pre - poned to October 3rd.
