There are a few list out there going around which try to plays the best urban blogs based on Alexa, Technorai, and a few other ill faded factors. So us here at the GreasyGuide.com decided to really see who was on top and who was not. So first check out that list in a post I found on Wooohah.com. They state that by using Alex, Technorati, Digg, and Momentum they can calculate the best blogs on the net. But I totally disagree with this list. There is much much more that goes into the value of a blog these days. So we decided to use the method that is used on dnScoop.com. They measure a url’s worth based on Domain age, Google Page Rank, number of Inbound Links, and Alexa ranking. We also decided that a blogger must own all of their data. Thus any sites build on top of wordpress.com or blogger.com we removed from this list. So check out April’s list of Top Urban bloggers. I was excited to see that Kanye West was getting into the online space and building out a travel site. That was until I actually saw what the site looked like. Here is our review of the site and if it is even worth you spending time on. 1. Design = F This has to be one of the WORST designs of a travel site ever. I mean DAMN dude you couldn’t hire your 13 year old nephew to design the page and a descent eye catching layout. This is not very fashion forward or innovative and it’s very much stuck in web 1.0. 2. Bey is gracing the cover of the April issue of Italian magazine “Jack ”. If you haven’t heard, Bey has a song called “Beautiful Nightmare” that has been leaked recently. She is working on a new album due out in the latter of 2008 and she left a message at Beyonce online.com for her fans regarding the leak of her song. Yesterday, “Beautiful Nightmare,” a demo I’ve been working on for possible inclusion on my next album, leaked on some websites. I want to thank all my fans for the positive response to the song, but I want to tell you that this is just a work in progress. It is not my time to put out new music.
