Led Zeppelin will tour in 2008 , the band who have been booked as their tour support have revealed. Ian Astbury, lead singer of The Cult, has confirmed that they have been roped in to support the recently-reformed band on a jaunt next year.According to Billboard, during a gig in Cincinnati on November 17, Astbury said: "We'll be back next year, because we're opening for a band you may have heard of. The name starts with an 'L' and has a 'Z' in it."Hearing the announcement, a fan in the audience shouted, "Led Zeppelin." Astbury nodded an affirmative response, and raised an arm into the air.Led Zeppelin are yet to announce official details of any new tours.CLICK HERE

UNDERWOOD, Minn. - A donkey is happily eating grass again after falling down a dry, abandoned well and being freed in an intensive rescue effort. It appeared that the animal wandered away from its farm and onto some boards covering the well, which broke, said Bruce Huseth, fire chief in this western Minnesota town. Firefighters quickly realized that the animal, which belongs to farmer Warren Gundberg, couldn't just be pulled from the abandoned well on Bryan Nelson's land.So they started pulling away earth with a tractor and dismantling the well block by block Thursday. Once one wall had been taken apart, firefighters put a harness around the donkey and guided it out with a rope."Whatever it takes," Nelson said as he watched his well come down. "I love animals, and I'm just glad it's OK."Gundberg admonished the animal after the rescue: "I bet you'll think twice about doing that again. The website to register for Led Zeppelin tickets received over 120 million hits yesterday (September 14).Fans wanting to go to the gig on November 26 at the O2 Arena in London must put their names into a ballot which will randomly allocate tickets.However yesterday the site Ahmettribute.com received around 120 million hits, with 25 million people apparently registering for the ballot, which closes on Monday (September 17) at noon (BST).There are 20,000 tickets at £125 per head and sales are limited to two per person. Successful applicants will hear after October 1.Organisers have now told fans not to worry as the registration for the ballot is open until Monday (September 17)."The message is to be patient.
