Mobile still and more affable than rumor would have it."And now, following in her footsteps, the actor Corey Haim has done the same thing. You can see the ad above. Pathetic! Corey Haim is now 37 years old, but that meth face of his says he's pushing 50. Don't do meth, kids. Just look at Corey.It should be noted that some of Haim's "films" include: "Dream Machine," "Dream a Little Dream," "Blown Away," "The Lost Boys" and "A Time to Live." Do you see a trend here? I do. Poor Corey. Davis did it so much better.

Two fools, pimping their absDirected by Andy Tennant, written by Tennant, John Claflin and Daniel Zelman, 112 minutes, rated PG-13.The best thing that can be said for the new Andy Tennant movie, "Fool's Gold ," is that it lives up to its title. In fact, it surpasses it.This dumb, vapid comedy, which clocks in at nearly two hours, feels as if it was directed, written and performed by a ship of fools--and, my, how that ship gurgles and burps when it sinks.From Tennant, John Claflin and Daniel Zelman's script, "Fool's Gold" did have a few people at my screening giggling, but it's important to note that those giggles distinctly came from its target audience of female tweens and they only tittered when Matthew McConaughey--buff, golden, ripped beyond reason--took to the screen with his shirt off, which pretty much is for most of the movie.What a fall from grace this actor has had. Look no further than Reel Geezers, two 80-something voting members of the Academy who share in these two entertaining clips a window into how Academy members vote. What I love about them is that they essentially have given the middle finger to the Academy by breaking a key rule--they've let us know who they're voting for. And neither cares--at one point, crotchety Lorenzo defies the Academy to get rid of him. He should run for president. Vote Lorenzo!Surprises ensue, to say the least.
